Thanks for all the kind comments everyone. He told me he almost made a Batmobile to go with it outta Bumblee but ran out of time. I don't really think BB works though ...Which mold do you guys think would work for a Batmobile...I like the idea of the Decpticon Drone...my first thought was Cliffjumper, his attitude would definitely vibe well with Batman.

 

Oh and btw I am a guy not a girl

Hello all! Thanks for all your awesome comments! I'm the dude that painted this figure, and I AM proud of it! Surprised how well I did for my first time, actually haha.

I grew up on Beast Wars and all the series that came after that, but my boyfriend introduced me to the fun that is G1! I got a TRU Exclusive Reissue G1 Perceptor for Christmas from him! Anyway, he is very obviously obsessed with Robin and Arcee, so I mulled over how to combine the two. Most of the existing Arcee figures were cars, and I have a strong dislike over the TF movie versions of Arcee- She's a glorified unicycle and has that ugly "beret" on her head. It hit me that we had recently gotten the pink NYCC's Arcee and I LOVED the mold/transformation sequence, AND it's a motorcycle! Robin rides a motorcycle! It was too perfect and I had to do it. Not to mention she has that awesome Tron-like backpack.

I opted for the actual TF Prime version, since most of her was black so that saved a lot of painting for me. I used Citadel paints which apparently are used for small figures but it worked pretty well anyway, no primer needed. (BTW, colors were Red Gore, Chaos Black, Dead White, and Golden Yellow) Being the procrastinator I am, I didn't have time to get better paint but thankfully the Citadel paints were VERY forgiving. I could scrape off my mistakes without damage to the original paint job. I masked the already-painted parts that i wanted to keep (The seat part, mainly) with regular Scotch tape and that allowed me margins for error in the learning process. I'm actually VERY proud of the robin symbol on the side... that was near-impossible to do! Had to scrape it off a few times haha.

I liked what I did with the backer card, a very convincing TF: Gotham City box so I wanted to do a Batmobile one as well since I had PLENTY of black paint. (Only used black on the hips, head, "cape," and blades) Due to time constraints, I couldn't. Finished painting and packaging it the night before Christmas eve. Because of everyone's amazing comments, I'm definitely feeling inspired to do more repaints!  

I feel the back is underappreciated since it's got one of my favorite parts of the whole thing- the Tron backpack! Here's a picture.  

 

It AAAAALMOST happened! But time ran out. With everybody's awesome comments I definitely feel inspired to continue this TF: Gotham City Line!   I almost did a Green Lantern Arcee with the second one but decided against it since he wanted that one for his collection anyway.

Aaaaaah that Cybertron Megatron/Galvatron Batman looks awesome! I actually really like how TFP Vehicon looks for a practical batmobile and it'd look good next to Arcee since it's from the same series. Since The Cybertron Megatron/Galvatron is obviously already done, I guess the Vehicon is the obvious choice here. Still open for suggestions though!

It's funny that Jigs625 should mention TFA Blur- I've been wanting to get him so I could mod it into a Tron vehicle.
