So I have 3 of the figures for abominus with 2 on the way. Hun Grrr I got for a great deal minus the chest, fists and feet. Are the parts in the LQ KO set that's floating about, with the two technobots in place of blot and sinnertwin, a good fit on the originals for a temporary place holder on the parts until I can replace them as they become available? Does anyone know for sure (please no speculators or anti KO replies, just solid answers). Thanks!

You wanted a solid answer so I gave one to you. Personally I don't know because i don't do KOs but Abominus is a sweet sweet combiner.

I think they're a different shade of purple, but I don't own the KO.

 

Not really caring about color as they will be replaced. I need a definitive answer on fitting.

 

I have used them and mine fit and were great replacements for Hun-Gurrr's accessories.

 

If I remember correctly, someone had posted a picture of their Abominus that utilized some of the parts from the KO set that you speak of. I recall them taking one of the fists and using it as a placeholder.

If anything, you might need some clear nail polish in the event that the parts aren't a firm enough fit.

 

I have an Abominus KO, but not the one with Technobots. It has the other two bots in inverted colors. I can't tell you if the parts fit or not as the KO is still sealed.

 

I have the ko set your talking about, with the original figures. The fists and feet are fine but the chest plate is too narrow and won't fit properly or look right

 

That sucks a little bit. The Main thing is getting the complete gestalt standing but the chest would have made it looked really sweet. Looks like I know what piece to hunt down first
