Hey Cybershadow, where in the UK are you from? I went to Uni in London, I miss it so much. I'm going to migrate away from Asia after I marry, and so it's very high on the top of my list.

Prime Arcee is awesome! i remember how hard it was to get Japanese figurines there, so I'd focus on that here, stuffs from Bandai or Takara. Do you collect Revoltechs?

Also don't let this thread scare you about KO's in Singapore. The G1 Ko's are obvious, you see those a lot here because a lot of the G1 uncles and ah peks here still want even those versions too, especially of Mirage.

the Singapore police are very vigilant, Hasbro SG would not allow a retailer to get away with selling these things for one day (my fiancee's BFF works for Hasbro, so I see how hands on they are in policing their IP here, they even search their factory employees 3 x a day!) nor would the other major retailers here. They'd be on the phone to the police in a second and it would be all over the news. The trolls here love to whisper and backstab but sadly they don't like to think logically.

 

I came so close to picking that up today, actually... Then I noticed the Dai Atlas and Goldbug Alternity figures in Singapora. I really want the other two - Galvatron and Banzaitron - so I decided to wait two weeks, and if the Alternity are not out by then, I will grab the Darkside set. I am just not a huge fan of the Prime figure. I am also tempted by the FP Insecticons, but I only really want Backfiery, and he seems to be $79 everywhere.

Hi there. I am from just North of London, but looking to move out here early 2012. I have a couple of Revoltechs - Macross YF-19 and YF-21 - and while they are OK, I am not really a collector.

I think that the only figures that I have seen that I thought were KOs are three G1 Dinobots at $119 in a shop - although there is also a Menasor boxed set that is quite likely to be a KO. Generally, I am unlikely to get hit with a KO as I am not interested in spending high $ on G1 figures over here, and I am looking mostly at Takara imports. I just want one to take home to remind me of the trip over here, really, and I am selling large sections of my collection so I can move, so I need to be careful what figures I buy. I am hanging on to my Alternators/Binaltech/Alternity/Kiss/HA and MP and exclusives mostly.

 

No choice leh bro...gotta cancel some stuffs in order to allow new and goot stuffs (barang baik) to come...if not i keep on paying premium...so far im e only premium member, no one wanna join me, so i emo...

I was lucky to find MP10 for about 650RM here in KL. I am hoping to run across some 3rd party stuff for around MSRP here or in Singapore.

 

Hi Coldiron bro not sure if anyone have replied u yet....there 2 place u can go over in singapore that have some 3rd party product. One place is China Square Central in Chinatown, there are a few shop here that specialise in toys and they always have 3rd party product in hand. A shop U-Toys have a lot of them....

Another is Robo Robo at Cityhall address is Excelsior Shopping Centre(next to funan) #b1-17. Tel : 82883515.

@CyberShadow: Just a suggestion, besides the specialty shops / department stores, you might want to try ebay Singapore as one of your choices as well   sometimes you might find a good deal on ebay Singapore as well (but no guarantees, just a suggestion). Because Singapore is a relatively small country, transactions could take place COD and face-to-face near the MRT stations

 

I ordered from robo robo $68, if im not wrong they have stock and are selling it now at $70-$72...Other shops I realised they are selling either as a set of 3 at $230+ or 1 at $80+...

 

The fact is that shop they badmouth is the prime competitor of the shop they all patronize because it gives them the lowest prices. But now the competitor has lowest prices, and so they resort to these kind of dishonest tactics. It's an extremely dirty and unethical way to conduct business, and when I've challenged them to put their names behind these accusations and file a police report for fraud, they go totally silent.

Guys, I just checked my Drift figure, already massive yellowing sia. I never display out in the sunlight and played with it a few times only. How like tht? Sorry I do not want to be anal abt this but this bugs me so much like a small stress mark in most of my toys.

 

Hmm...   Lemme go check on mine & see whether it has received a similar unlucky fate as yours.

Btw have you gotten those airbrush or spray cans already (to improve on your custom techniques & the like..)?
