Used spray this time, but some parts leave alot to be desired.
I am planning to revise the V-fin sometime. At this moment, it is what I have.

Still alot of imperfections, but I am learning.

I really like the V-fin used for the head. It gives Ratchet a bit of an edgy persona - it's almost a mix of Animated and Prime Ratchet while throwing back to G1 at the same time. In fact, I think the whole character of this piece really tunes me into the Prime Ratchet.

I won't   with the Scion xB discussion here. I would like to see a bit more "ambulance" deco on the vehicle mode, such as graphics, etc.

Glad to see some Alternators/Binaltech on here recently, and this is a good one! I can see why you went with spraypaint though...painting white with a brush really is a pain in the arse.

Another sweet repaint. Personally, dig this mold for Ratchet quite a bit.

 

I REALLY like what you've done with the head here. As Allen said, it gives him a different look, as in not so passive anymore.

 

In my mind, the xBs aren't ambulances, more like support vehicles (Like Ratchet has been in the later animated series'). Usually SUVs in real life, but meh.

Borrowed a Ratchet Kre-O head and it pops in without any mods! Looks better IMHO

 

Awesome! I love the "V" crest because it gives off that anime vibe, but the red crest really looks more G1/comic styled. Can't go wrong with either! This is one smooth piece of work, my friend. The paint apps look factory and I never get tired of seeing Ratchet (and Ironhide) from this mold!

 

I agree about the kre-o head. I would paint the v-band black. Nice job!

 

I too like the head change! Crazy that it worked out that well. Did you put the first head on the kre-o Rachet?

 

How big is this fellow compared to classics prime? Could be a viable alternative to the igear sets.  

 

I like the Kreo head, but I like the one you made better. I think it gives the custom a LOT more uniqueness and personality.

 

the 1st head is more inline with AT/BT.
get the V crest done in red, that's all. osem.

He is slightly bigger than classics Prime.

I've been meaning to comment on this guy and your Ironhide for days...I love him , and I been going back and forth on which molds to use for these guys. I really like these molds for Ratchet and Ironhide. I also been thinking bout the KO hummer molds and have been thinking bout the new I-gear molds coming out as well....but those guys are out of my price range at the moment.
