So the only one with any big paint differences is Bulkhead?

 

Except that they don't.

The only thing that's been changed is the plastic colours. And even then, Starscream, Megatron, and Cliffjumper look identical.

The other three merely use slightly darker shades of plastic.

 

Takara Bulkhead looks aces -the rest are not noticeably different from the US versions.

 

The open ones are the hasbro versions then??

Prime and Bulkhead look a lot better.

 

Bulkhead looks pretty great, and I like the darker blue they're using for the Optimus. If I had to pick just one, Bulkhead definitely looks to have the better paint improvement overall...

Also like the slight differences to Starscream. Might buy him for the hell of it..

I am definitely going to get Takara Bulkhead and Prime. It is a pity I have already ordered a Hasbro Bee Scream and Arcee because I like that Bee a lot better. I personally like both Screams.

 

I personally think Takara's are all better. Outside of the darker Bulky, the differences on other figures are pretty subtle, but very nice. Still, it's hard to justify the higher price tags for me. I'll probably just stick with Hasbro's releases.

 

I see absolutely no differences between the two Bumblebees. It's possible the yellows are different, but I'm color blind and can't tell that well.

Looks like Megatron has some darker plastic on his elbow joints, arms, and chest. Starscream has some darker parts as well. I don't know if these changes make them any more accurate to the show model though.

The Cliffjumpers looks exactly the same to me.

Optimus' darker grays look better to me, but I much prefer the US version's lighter blue, even if it is inaccurate.

 

I like Bumblebee more. And maybe Optimus Prime.

 

What's different about Bumblebee?

 

To me at least, it appears just a smidge more 'orangey'. (???)

 

Could that be due to the lighting?

 

all BB pics seems a bit dark. not only on this pics

 

I've seen other photos where i thought the the Takara version had more orange to it.

But again, i could be wrong.
