#3 To all people who are worried that this is gonna become like Bayformers in the idea of the Bots slaughtering the Cons; not so. in the background, you can see that the Cons are slaughtering a number of autobot troopers, and someone wounded Bumbler pretty bad.

 

1: It's the opening cinematic and thus has nothing to do with actual events of the game.
2: It IS, I repeat IS Starscream that gets decked because the point of that opening cinematic is to show off a bunch of characters, including Screamer. Also it's the opening cinematic so it has nothing to do with actual events of the game.
3: I agree. Autobots and Decepticons will fall in equal number based on which side the player is playing. This concept that suddenly the Decepticons are weak is one of the odder ones to arrive. Also this was the opening cinematic and has nothing to do with actual events of the game.

Since I point it out, remember how much the opening cinematic for War for Cybertron had to do with actual contents of the game (outside of merely displaying the characters doing cool things)?

This cinematic was stated in Game Informer to be important to the story unlike WFC's opening. After the opening the game flashes back and eventually leads up to Bumblebee taking a bullet for Prime. If I remember correctly.

You cannot be serious. The Easy answer to this is that they remodeled starscreams transformation scheme and sound haha! It's not like they are going to keep everything from WFC.

 

it's screamer, just rewatched, colors match, TF sound and Transformation scheme don't matter as new game may have re-worked sounds and animation.

3. Did you (or really whoever you're talking about) miss the entire WFC game where Autobots and Decepticons utterly slaughtered each other in each level? Who the hell is gonna think that it will only be Autobots killing Decepticons after the absolute massacre on both sides?

 

All I can say is that if this is a final cinamatic event in the game, they failed as it does not look no where as good as the cinamatic trailers or events from the first game. All the TFs look bland, Optimus's face looks like its made out of tin foil, Megatrons head is by far the worst looking head design I have even see on him. Having all the cons in the purple just made every one of them including the Combaticons, look PLAIN. We all see that in game designs look nothing like they do in this trailer and if this is a in game cinamatic, it will not match at all. About the only thing I thought was bad ass in this trailer was seeing Ironhide rush in and put Starscream on his face LMAO!!

 

Why would they keep an identical Transformation sound for Starscream? They want to go all-out, so why keep the same sounds?

Also, (I thought I'd post this here, instead of making a whole thread about it) I noticed Starscream has what looks like a mustache, but it could just be weird shading.

No, Gameinformer said that the game STARTS out with you, the player, controling Bee onboard the Ark as the Cons invade the ship. This portion will serve as the tutorial and will end with Bumblebee taking a blast from Megatron that was meant for Prime. Then the game will flash back.
