I have to try either of these methods for the loose joints of some of my toys. Like the way Star Saber's helmet and face plate doesn't stay in place, for example. Thanks for the tips!

I probably would'nt do it to a toy as expensive as that tbh. Just in case.

Hell, aside from owning some of these that I don't currently, it would be awfully nice to have a chance to to mess with them in person.

If you're talking about Star Saber, I got him and Victory Leo pretty banged up but for a very good price. Still, I would heed your warning. For now, I'm making do with inserting a thin sheet of plastic to hold the helmet in place.

Yeah, if only most of us aren't oceans apart, it would be nice to do a meet and greet slash show and tell. :)

These look like good deals on Yahoo HK auctions:

Great Might Gaine, Perfect Mode. BIN, 499 HKD
    中å¤å‹‡è€…ç‰¹æ€¥è¶…èƒ½åŠ çˆ¾å®Œç¾Žæ¨¡å¼ DX 一套3件 Yahoo! æ‹è³£

    Great Goldran, BIN 680 HKD
    ä¸å¤ DX黃金勇者 一SET3åª å¤šæ‹‰ 里昂鎧撒 空影å¯è®Šåž‹åˆé«” Yahoo! æ‹è³£

    Granbird, BIN 110 HKD
全新 韓版 斷一角 見圖 太陽勇者 ç«é³¥è™Ÿ 旋風雷鳥 99元起bid~~~ Yahoo! æ‹è³£

These items have no BIN prices

    Choryujin and Gekiryujin
    中å¤GGG Gaogaigar 勇者王 超é¾ç¥ž å¹»é¾ç¥ž 4éš» 日版 Yahoo! æ‹è³£

    Takara Leonkyzer
ä¸å¤ TAKARA 黃金勇者 LEON KYZER 里昂凱撒王 ç…å åˆç‰ˆ 日版 Yahoo! æ‹è³£

I just use Google Translate to read the details of the auctions, everything seems legit. You can also do this on your own. I can ask the sellers questions for you, if you want.

Get these items if you can. If you can't do it on your own, send me a PM so we can work out a deal for me to get the item(s) that you want for you. I'll still be up in the next four hours or so to reply to your messages.

Why is Great Fighbird's head crest so damn fragile o_0. I heard some on here has a broken one, mine's got a crack in it, and that one in the auction is also broken.

First of all those spikes are too thin, and maybe the problem is only on Sonokong ones (like mine) which may be more brittle. Easily fixable with superglue, though.

They're not really thin. They're about the same as other Brave head fins. But this is the only case of the vintages that I've head of those parts breaking.

Mine is one of those that is broken. Unfortunately, superglue doesn't hold, as there's not much surface area for it to grab onto.

Is that the Dingeist KO with the purple colour scheme?

Yeah, that's the real thing with a KO shield. I just painted the shield black and reapplied the sticker. Dinogeist did look purplish with the lamp behind him.

    Archieboy,
Did you say the quality on that Dinogeist KO is pretty bad?

Yes, in itself, pretty bad. If you plan to use it for parts, the one sword is an okay replacement, but the shield needs some additional work, as I've shown.

    Christmas comes early:

My last 2 DXs for now. Coincidently the 2 healing units in Brave Saga.

And I finally opened this guy up:

Now I get some sleep. The real fun starts tomorrow.

Hey, nice man! I'm haven't decided whether to get GBG or not. But given its price and past comments I've read on this thread, probably not. Also, I'm pretty clumsy I'm afraid I'll break the damn thing the first minute I touch it.

I may have to give that KO a try, though. :)
