Never bought from KO Toys, but the impression I've been given is that things have been a bit shady even if you ignore the fact they make KO's.

So from that POV, glad to see them go? Hopefully all the KO "companies" go under but the 3rd party folks who engineering/design stuff get to stick around.

Really, those KOLD Konvoys and CHMS Seekers cost say 2$, maybe 5$ at most, per figure. What have folks paid for these? 30-50$ originally right?

Even with the CHMS Seekers being sold at a mere 10$, they're making a good bit of profit. Remember, they charge you shipping outside the figure. Not the case when you get figures off a store.

 

Didn't these guys once sell some pretty decent ko gift sets of Defensor and Menasor? Can't find them on the website.

I stand by my previous statement. Kickback is a personal friend outside of all of this, and anyone that tries to harm a friend of mine will see the side of me I buried when I left the hood.

Also, i just remember something.. He does have other websites with different names. He might be closing Kotoys but i remember his intentions was to open another store in a different name..

KOToys affected many people in very bad ways in their lives over the course of their store. So there's no way you're going to get one without the other.

Seriously? The owner threatened people's lives because of negative, truthful feedback. He threatened their families and loved ones. And people want to treat this as a vigil like a loved one just died.

If you had read just ONE of the IM logs I have seen over the years. Just ONE. Your posts would read much differently in this thread.

I have ordered from them 5-6 times, never had a problem. Stores close, others open. It happens.

 

Not a third party and not legitimate.

 

Not sorry to see them go.. though finding a KO Gentei Wildrider will get tricky.. just can't justify the cash a real one is going for
