I think both the spin off series and games ideas are both good ones.

lennox should be the main character in TF4 if it were to happen, his home life would be really compelling and the life of a soldier is full of real trials and tibulations and his wife and daughter would undoubtably worry about him.

I never understood why we never saw them in the sequels.

This is a couple i could have gone behind and supported. I mean his friendship with Ironhide could have been awesome.

I'll never understand why that wasn't the main human focus as opposed to Sam.

They could call them "GI Joe" or something.

I think a human-focused NEST spinoff could work, but it seems like more of a thing the comics would do, than an entire movie. I wouldn't mind seeing more NEST in the next films, I felt it was a partnership that was often neglected in the story (either in favor of the military on their own or the transformers on their own).

if they did a spin off for NEST... I really could see Lennox as the main show's human character as he (Josh Dumael) is all to familiar with being in tv series as he was in All my Children and others like Las Vegas and so on. It would be a piece of cake for him to step back into that kind of role. And with it being about NEST why not bring in new Military style Autobots just for the series. Dont have Bee or Optimus and the normal Bot cast as they would be off doing other things anyway. Maybe have them pop in from time to time as guest bots in an episode or 2 but for the most part, have like 4 or 5 main NEST Autobots as the series spin off characters like HOUND and have him as one of the NEST Hummer X's and maybe even others like Powerglide and Warpath to name a few. All would be great movie style additions as NEST Autobots. And with all the Cons still around the world, whats not to say that they cant make most of these into unique NEW D-con characters just for the series?

It could work as a TV show, but a movie version would not work very well. The idea just kinda has an X-men Origins: Wolverine feel to it and we all know how that turned out. If it's in the right hands it could be done very well and show how the Autobot-human alliance works in a better way due to more screen time.

agreed... and I think in order for it to be a successful series (if done that way) you would have to go with a new young small cast of Autobots. I know some said have Ratchet and Ironhide and so on but to be honest, leave them in the movies and start fresh with fresh characters and ideas. Besides... cant have Hide in a series thats based off the movies (im assuming after the 3rd movie) if He died in DOTM now can you?

You are right on many accounts, especially where if the series is based off the movies then it wouldn't make sense if Ironhide was in it if it continued from DOTM. But from some of the posts I've seen relating to Lennox and Ironhide, alot of people would like or love to see these two in action. So, what about a series that happens between the first and second movies, or the second and third movies, or both? That way the Lennox/Ironhide fans can see the indepth relationship between these two, and also bring in the new young small cast of Autobots, where Ironhide is in command? Just an idea... :)

That could work but there is one problem with it. In order to have hide as he was and not piss people off by changing his look, they would need to keep him as the GMC Topkick. I may be wrong but I dont think they would bring him back in that capacity as the GMC Topkick is no longer in production. Sure They could use a few older ones that are still in use but I dont think GM would indorse it. But I honestly think they would just push on and not have fill in series for between movies. Even though I really would have liked that for something to keep the fans occupied while the next movie was being produced and not give us these crappy comic book fillers that dont line up to well with the movies lol

That would be a interesting plot. I'd like to see it as a game or show. Gives certian Transformers a chance to ACTUALLY talk *cough*Jolt*cough*
Also to explain some plot holes for the TF Movies.

    I approve! :thumb

NO NO NO. The military was unnecessary and took up way too much time in the movies as it is. No one would watch it. As an example, here's a conversation I literally just had with my cousin while watching DOTM:

My cousin: "My favorite part was when the snipers take out the robots' eyes."

Me: "Okay...what was your favorite part where the robots actually did something?"

    My cousin: "Uh..." (silence) "meh..."

    Me: -_____________-

the problem is... you will never get a full length TFs movie without human characters and military involvement of some kind. Even a series would (im sorry) still involve a lot of human interaction and probably more than a full length movie.

Human interaction is not a problem, and is actually necessary to an extent. (See: TF Prime.) But too much = bad.

and honestly... i loved all the military involvement in all 3 movies. Yes some of it was unrealistic in the way the military was portrayed and or even at times, lack of military where clearly the military in (real life) would have been. What annoyed me most in the human interaction scenes of the 3 movies was the whole Sam and his looooooooooong drawn out growing up process that in the end could have been greatly shortened and so much more of that plot (if you want to call it that) could have been used to better flesh out and give screen time to the TFs. Just my opinion.
