    The Mummy - 8/10

    The Mummy Returns - 7/10

Good movies. The first will always be the best out of the 3. The second will always be second best and the third will always be a pile of shit.

This. I'd put it as my second favorite film of 2011, after X-Men: First Class.

    TF: DOTM - 8.0/10

The only Bay film to score higher is TF, with 8.5. I find myself watching this one moreso like my Dad did with'Gladiator.' I just bookmark my favorite scenes and skip all over the place. So I've been watching the Chicago scenes non-stop.

Plus, it's on sale for $10 at Best Buy, and that made me reconsider holding out for the moment for the 3D release. Besides I paid $10, there's a $10 savings coupon in the Blu-Ray, so it works out.

I agree. First Class was the best film of the year.

    anyways.....

    Elf - 10/10

Will Ferell is always fanastic like always. And plus Ed Asner is Santa Claus. Win! One of my all-time favourite Christmas films.

GI Joe: Rise of Cobra - 7/10. Not a bad movie. The Paris chase scene was the best part of the movie IMO, but that bit with Scarlett on the bike was terrible. There are some parts that are cheesy and the CGI wasn't that good. But a good action movie.

    The Muppets - 9/10

A fun and entertaining movie that pretty much anyone could enjoy. It's the Muppets, what's not to love?

Crazy Stupid Love - 7/10. Not really my sort of film, but Steve Carrell and Ryan Gosling make it enjoyable.

    - Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone - 7/10 - Fun movie, although the plot gets forgotten in places to allow room for world-building.

    - Green Lantern: Emerald Knights - 9/10 - Wasn't expecting much after the crapfest that was First Flight, but this was an impressive film and potentially sets up future GL DTV features. Great animation and good performances as well.

Captain America. I seen it in the theater before, and this was my second time. It's good, but a bit over-rated in my opinion. I would give it a 7/10. Solid performances by everyone, and I like Steve's journey to becoming Captain America, and the whole Tony Stark and Bucky interactions, but the villain kind of fell flat. But, the movie made up big by the last scene, when he wakes up in modern day NYC. That scene pumped me up for the new Avengers coming out.

Super 8. 10/10. I love kid ensemble movies like this, there needs to be more, and this was my favorite movie of the year until Rise of the Planet of the Apes. It's still my second favorite, and the whole thing still kept me on edge. For me, it kind of reminds me a bit of Goonies and E.T., only E.T. in this is not so lovable!

LOTR trilogy. 20/10. I can't wait till a year from now, we get to go back to Middle Earth!
