You took it the wrong way. I said "This" to that post because that's how I feel. People should be thankful that they're making the game. Maybe they should complain about it when the game is actually released.

 

Why?

I'm gonna keep it as simple as that. What is the reason some of you keep saying this? None of you defending the game read these long ass posts that I've been writing about this topic, so let's just keep this very simple.

Why be thankful just for the fact that they have the TF license and are making another TF game?

No offence but the last game was a generic TPS with Transformers substituted in.

Does anyone want to play the substitution game? Here we try to point out what the weapons were trying to mimic. I'll start.

Fusion Cannon = Rocket Launcher (albiet with an insane ROF).

 

Because they could have decided to not make a sequel for WFC, and then none of you would have anything to complain about.

Why? Why should we be thankful for something that would be done regardless? Transformers makes Hasbro a $#!+ load of money—heck, even the crappy movie games made Hasbro money! It wouldn’t matter if High Moon Studios or Trash Crappy Games made the game, as it would still sell and make Hasbro money.

And there's nothing wrong with folks talking about their dislikes about news given. If you dislike people talking about such topics, perhaps you should go elsewhere. After all, you aren't exactly adding to the discussion. You are derailing it.

This is just stupid, as we all know Hasbro was quite happy with High Moon Studios and WFC. They did after all have them make the DOTM game, silly.

This is the most bitchy thread I've ever read, and I say this as someone who isn't particularly excited about FOC.

 

Id have to say... the one disapointment I have with FoC is Cliffjumper's character. While they tried to make him look more like his PRIME counterpart, it bothers me that they gave him all of Mirage's powers lol When the hell has Cliffjumper ever turned invisable? I really would have preferred that they created a FoC Mirage and not give Cliffjumper Mirage's powers lol

 

Agreed, and I'm done with it at this point. They can make a thread discussing the points they like about FOC so far and I won't be going in there, but they feel a constant need to troll here instead. I'm done with it.

That being said I think we've hit on a lot of the major points for improvement at the time being. Feel free to include more, but I think the major *confirmed* topic points are:

* No PC port
* No co-op online multiplayer
* No split screen offline/online multiplayer
* No multiplayer fembots
* No multiplayer dinobots

 

This may seem insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but Matt Tieger also confirmed that Hound, Primus and Unicron wouldn’t be making an appearance in the game either, though I don’t think anyone expected them to have a part in the story in any form—at least not at this point anyway—Hound didn’t have much of a presence in G1 until they reached Earth anyway.

If I’m not mistaken, I think he also said secondary special attacks wouldn’t be reappearing in this game too.

 

There's nothing to disappoint me yet, as I haven't played the game. It's a little early to start nitpicking flaws, isn't it? Don't mean to "troll", just saying, me personally I'll wait until I play it to pass judgement.

I was going to preorder the game until I read the rumors, I'm going wait until the finish product comes out now. This might be another good opportunity for some third party companies to jump into, I would pay 50-100 $ for a Video game with fembots, all the popular G1 characters and maybe some gestalts. American companies are losing in the market place because they forgot the number 1 rule in business " Give your customers what they want "!

 

Um, American publishers are DOMINATING the video game market. Only Nintendo and Sony can even compare.

 

I'm going to wait until I've played the game before I pass judgement. I've heard some bad things about a lot of video games I've liked in the past, and I when I actually sat down and played them I enjoyed them.

 

High Moon managed to botch another chance at a great TF game imagine that ( War for Cybertron PC version owner)

 

Not rumors confirmed by HM themselves as fact. In addition character selection is gone from WFC. Most sequels keep things from the past games and expand and add on to it. At this point HM seems to be going the other way and stripping it down to be as bare bones as as they can but, if it makes for a longer better story I'm all for it though I doubt thats why they are doing it. In the round table they dodged the level length question and bragged instead they had a whole team on mp leading me to believe that is once again the main focus of this game.
