Picked up Air Raid at the Ames Target yesterday.

 

They did have at least one dark steel. didn't take the time to look through all of them.

 

I got HA DS today and I love him, I see why all the hate but I do not care, he kicks butt!

 

Marion Walmart has a bunch of Lunarfire Optimus and the Orange Roadbuster. Battle track battle Roadbuster, or whatever he's called. No need to hurry, they have a complete endcap full of both...

 

Anyone seen DOTM Hatchet? I haven't even seen his case assortment I think.

 

He's been out since June but was still a somewhat uncommon up until about 2 weeks ago. Now I see him just regularly at the local Targets and K-Marts in the QC.

 

Alas darksteel will always be beyond my grasps...

But I picked up a free figure today with the face book coupon and 10 bucks store cash at Kolhs and I got a free Cyberfire BB - I figured maybe I'd give it away as a halloween prize.

Anyway no Transformer costumed 'Trick or Treaters' came at all this year... until literally the last lone kid came as I was turning off the lights and it was a five year old dressed as bumblebee.

So I ran back inside grabbed the fig. and gave him the cyberfire BB I got today for free, he ran away in glee, it was so funny!

 

Hey gang, I'm here in Des Moines for a few day from Florida.

I haven't seen a whole lot around here that hasn't been seen already, looking for an Air Raid myself.

But in the Ames Walmart there is one Cyberverse Guzzle if anyone needs him. Other than that that store is pretty standard fare, tons of Scourges and Kups too.

 

I haven't seen anything new in awhile and I'm in Louisiana all this week on work. When I get home I'm sure I'll hit up some stores and see what's around.

 

I will be heading to Ankeny this evening. I check around for Dark Steel for you.

 

Picked up HA Reverb today from Target, they had waves 3 and 4 of the HA basics.
They also had Cannon Force Ironhide but no new deluxe waves.

 

anyone in the Sioux City, Mankato, Spirit Lake areas? Im going to be doing my annual trip to Iowa in a few weeks and wondered if these areas have had some good finds

 

My Target has gotten in everything now except that they skipped deluxe wave 3 and 4, go figure, but who cares, lol, they get re-upped with old wave figs in wave 5 for the most part.

There's one Armor Topspin and Leader Ironhide (I don't see him to often) left and that is about it for interesting figures.

 

Nothing new here either. The long(?) until Soundwave starts showing up I guess.

 

Where is there a Track Battle Roadbuster around, we never got him around here after all I guess?
Now that I got an Armor Topspin I want Orange Roadbuster too.

Pretty funny considering Exclusive-ish TB Roadbuster is eight to a case and AA Topspin is only one per case yet I found him no problem.

Anyway:

Junkion and Sky Shadow just came out today.
Deluxe Leadfoot is rumored to be coming out very soon as in this x-mas or in early 2012.
Soundwave and Wheeljack are getting closer as we've had warehouse sightings.
HA Soundwave will probably be hitting shelves in December as well.

I hear rumors that stores are waiting til Black Friday to put out the newer waves of TF toys.
And it sure seems to be the case where I live, W-marts pegs are getting lower and lower fast, with no re-stock boxes ever being put out on the floor that I can see...

 

Speaking of Soundwave, I found two Cyberverse Soundwaves at the Davenport Target the other day.




I bought one of them.

 

Prime has hit Cedar Rapids! Toys r us in CR has at least one case maybe more not sure but I got them to crack it open so one more starscream and arcee and four bumblebee! But go buy one get one half off works on them too and I think that goes through sat! So happy to find somthing new!

 

Thanks for the heads up Gabriev! I checked both my local Toys'R'Us stores yesterday and found no sign of Prime but after reading this I went out again today.

I scored:
- 1x Prime Bumblebee at the Davenport TRU (3x left)
- 1x Prime Starscream at the Moline TRU (0x left but they did still have 1x Bumblebee sitting up on top in the overstock area)


EDIT:

So in any interesting twist I decided quite impulsively to make a return trip to the Davenport TRU tonight around 8pm for another look around and because my borderline OCD can't tolerate finding 2 out of 3 figures in a wave. Anyway, turns out the Hasbro Gods are smiling on me because there was a lone Prime Arcee left hanging on the otherwise barren pegs.

My take away from this is, if there's something you want really bad from TRU they do apparently do a mid-day restock.

 

Its no problem depthcharge! I just got really lucky last night and the people stocking were awesome to let me have them! I just need the rest to come out an I'll feel better and that crazy itch will be satisfied at least untilled the full line comes out LOL XD

 

Found TF Prime figs in the Des Moines Southridge TRU. Not sure if anyone else mentioned it already. There was only one of each left there after I grabbed mine though.

I'm a little miffed that Sky Shadow and Junkion may be impossible for me to find. Maybe I should order them online after all.
