When you look down on his chest, the fake windows look awkward sitting in front of the real ones. As Tekkaman said, I'll wait for the Voyager Prime to hit my shelves.
Agreed, I mean why bother to design it with a second set of fake windows when the real ones are right there, what purpose do those fake ones serve in truck mode?
Pegs for the shoulders&arms. And indeed the windows look weird...(or trying to be show accurate..) The voyager is definitely worth the wait... anyhow if I were to decide which is better comparing this TFP deluxe prime with the movie 3 deluxe prime, I 'd pick this TFP Prime cuz' at least it doesn't have a kibbie in the back like the mv3 deluxe prime...
Y'know... looking at the Voyager images, I actually think that the Voyager is the same as the deluxe 'imo' the wind shield on the chest don't look the same as the ones on the cab on the voyager and there isn't any 'separation' gap on the cabs windows either to hint that they actually form the wind shields on his chest, just sayin'. But myself, absolutely love these figures, they're fun, well made, and pretty accurate to the show for their size.
hm.. i think these images are the deluxe ones... the voyager one looks alot different.. semi.. especially wen u look at the upper body and arms
My, What big hands you have Optimus! My, what a big cannon you have, so I guess you need the big hands. As others have said, the windows look funky, but otherwise he looks fine, I like the head and face too.
As good as the Megatron deluxe loooks, this makes me have no desire for the set. This deluxe Prime is garbage.
I can't wait to see what the actual Voyager and its paint job look like. Meaning, in-hand, not in promo pictures. And if there is a big difference, I may skip the Hasbro releases and get Takara. About the Deluxe, the Hasbro entertainment pack OP looks a little better than the first edition, so maybe the eventual single release will look even a little better. I'll still wait for the Voyagers for myself, but a cheap Deluxe might be a nice little gift for my nephew.
I know these ones are the deluxe, it's just I'm pointing out the fact that the voyager looks to have the same gimmick with the wind shields is all.
Yeah, that fake windshield on top of the real one is really awkward looking from certain angles. The voyager has a fake one too, but at least it looks good and a bit more convincing.
