This looks great! But yeah, gotta go with the in-scale Voyager version... I hate the head in alt mode too, but he'll be staying in robot mode so whatever.
ok, i know this is show accurate but, i would like some colored in eyes in turn of light-piping. i mean, c'mon, we need him to have those evil eyes!
I don't care for it either, but as has been said before, it is show accurate. This looks like a really well engineered toy.

I'm a G1 diehard. Megatron is my favorite. For me TF Prime is up there with G1, and TFP Megatron has become my favorite Megs ever. I love his look, his personality, all of it. This dude's the best.
Might just have to buy, I really like the purple with the light gray/metallic finish areas, that facial expression just is evil!
ah be patient my brothers. The voyager will come soon enough. I'm actually liking where this line is going. Maybe a couple things here and there but ultimately,FAR much better than DOTM. The figures for the most part seem really screen accurate. knowing me,I will probably end up picking up the voyager and deluxe just because Im a sucker for TF Prime as it is.
I personally find it a rather creepy feature, myself, having him glaring at you with those evil eyes of his no matter what form he takes. Cybertronian alt-modes certainly aren't for disguise, so it's not exactly a requirement for the head to be hidden or anything. Besides, the Sweeps did it first.
I'm fine with the head in his jet mode. As others have said...indeed Cybertronian modes are purely for function, not disguise. With such a design the character obviously feels a sense of invulnerability, as any stray shot can take out his optics. The fact that he chooses to ignore this flaw in his alt mode just gives Megatron a shitton of character. He can't be bothered with your pathetic attempts to shoot him down or disable him. He's going to win regardless. I like the deluxe, but I'm still on the fence about whether or not I REALLY want to commit to another line. I'm already really picky about what I get at retail now...
Everyone keeps saying the Voyager is coming soon and most of us are waiting for it. But do we have any official information of the sort? I've searched everything and come up with zilch.
Pretty cool, I'm not really digging the tiny cannon though. Doesn't look intimidating at all. I'll just wait and see what the voyager brings.
I've been after any scrap of news about a Voyager Megs since the show began and there has been nothing. Nothing! There's a confirmed voyager Skyquake....but no Megatron....lame.
