Saturday, October the 29th, at Lucca Comics & Games (Italy’s largest Convention for Comics, Cartoons, Anime and Action Figures) the first official meeting of the Transformers Italian fandom took place.
Autorobot.it, in collaboration with Hasbro Italy, organized I.A.CON., Italian Autorobot CONvention, featuring IDW artist Guido Guidi as special guest!

The fans were able to visit the Hasbro booth, where they could enjoy the preview of some bonus contents of the Transformers Dark of the Moon Bluray edition, with commentary by ILM's movie supervisor Scott Farrar (special guest for Universal).

Scott Farrar was then interviewed by some journalists and some Autorobot.it members submitted questions, while Guido Guidi entertained onlookers giving autographed drawings.

It was a truly special occasion for us, and we’d like to thank Guido and Hasbro Italy for giving us the opportunity to spend this wonderful day full of Transformers!

This was just the start, and was a very nice event! It has been great to meet and chat with all these Italian fans... and Hasbro Italia itself wants to expand it more and more for the next times!

I don't agree with the always cool Guido but I respect him.... I can't say the same thing for the other event creators though  

 

I only know that I was there, that I really enjoyed the event, that Scott Farrar, the Hasbro Italy team and the organizers has been very nice with everyone, and more than happy to meet fans, new and old!

hi primo XD is only because i'm banned of this site....only because i have a disagree with one administrator.....3 years ago(or more).....i'm changed but they are a little child.....

 

for me is not italian convention is only autorobot.it convention ....

 

I love the fact that Wheejack is the character for the Italian convention!  

 

It was quite the event, compared to the not-so-vaste local fandom: everyone I've talked to enjoyed it, be they contributors, organizer, guests or audience.
Kudos to the promoters for being able to put it together working on so many levels.
Too bad I missed it this year, but I will make up for that: it seems that next year there will be even more guests.

The meeting was very fun! There was many Transformers fan, users of Autorobot.it or just onlookers! It was a pleasure to meet Guido and to see he drawing, and mr. Farrar was a very kind guest that answer our questions! A special thanks to Hasbro Italia that made it possible! ^__^
