Why is everyone so eager to see the Twins? What's so great about them?

 

some of us loves the twins like me, Some care for the continuty and hates that characters dissapiar without trace

also their scene on DOTM was really important, the scene would had shown that the twins are not "Too" racist liek they claim and would had shown they care for everybody

not to forget besides beign seen in the NEST HQ there some reported sightings of herp and derp and some wanna know if those are actual sightings or ppl are seeing stuff

I have yet to see these as well as some other. The closeup of them entering the hanger was cut from the film as you can clearly see it was intended for the movie but used to the commercial instead.

 

That first picture of the Twins in the alley way reminds me of the scene filmed of them flipping a smart car.

 

Look closely at the lighting of each shot. It'll tell you if it was intended to be in the final cut but were removed or not.

The ones removed after getting added to a final cut have the color correction. Such as the autobots entering the hangar.

 

There is nothing great about the Twins, but it would have been nice to see them blown to bits by Sentinel.

Didn't one of them sacrifice it's life to save BB in the novel?

 

These are not fake, they are deleted scenes from DOTM. The only remaining scene in which the twins can be seen at a distance is the one in which the Autobots enter the NEST hanger. Both skids and mudflap can be seen in the rear of the convoy.

 

For me, it would have been a way to make them into more than just the stereotypes everyone saw them as. Instead it was pretty much "Yeah, they were bad characters. Let us never speak of them again."

Skids took the shot meant for Bumblebee, followed by Mudflap making an attempt to avenge his death.

 

The coloring was done because of the GM comercial.

To each his own. While I didn't hate the Twins, I don't think they're worth missing considering how little they contributed and how obnoxious they were. They would have ruined the overall darker tone of Dark of the Moon. The decision to cut them from the film was a good one.

 

They would have set the darker tone of DotM. The goofy comic relief characters who just jumped around chewing the scenery with no consequences for all of the last movie just got splattered all over the sidewalk.

I didnt so much like the twins but like many have said the part that was in the book would of made the movie so much better. And we all know they WHERE filed why not just add them in? Id rather see a bot come and go then pull a Jolt from FOTFand Barricade in the first movie.

It was shot for the movie, but they removed it and used it in the GM commercial. People would complain more because they're even more black, literally. And notice that the characters intended to be killed by sentinel are black in color. Ironhide, Skids, Mudflap.
