I think they shouldn't have made them combine. I think the combined mode looks great but their individual robot modes suffer for it. I'll probably pass on these, unfortunately.

These Dinobots (and their combined form) KICK ASS!!!  

These guys and Terminus Hexatron (Sixshot) are on the top of my want list!  

I only hope that these Dinobots are painted in their classic G1 colors!

 

i hope the price on this bastard aint too high....I would love to have this in my collection.

 

I might get the the swoop, sludge, snarl, slag to go along with classics grimlock (whom i still dont like) but I want all the dinobots... so I dont know. I say this now but once I see what they look like painted that will really make the decision for me.

I do like the combined form but I never felt the dinos needed to combine. Im just a mess of contradictions on this one.

 

The rescue vehicle set does look really promising and I want more Autobot Combiners.

 

Looks like they updated these guys, with Beast Wars TM Megatron thrown in...

I like 'em, but not enough to buy them.

I really only want MP style G1 Dinobots to go with Grimmy, at this point. Given their popularity, I'm sure they'll happen EVENTUALLY, so I can wait.

 

If you look close at picture Dino_Combiner_Prototype_02_1319648847_thumb.jpg ... The one with all the Dinobot's in their Dino modes... it looks like Swoop has got HUGE feet. LOL

 

VERY easy pass. IMO They don't look good at all.

 

This is one combiner group i hope get individual releases. Swoop would be so bought.

 

If there's individual releases, I'll definitely snag Slag.

I agree, but I think in most cases people aren't being particularly harsh - they would just rather have regular, MP Dinobots (or sized with that Classics Grimlock - for whatever reason, I don't know).

I'm sure more of us would buy this if it was an official release, but as a third party product, it's bound to be pretty expensive. Gotta be picky when it comes to third party TFs...

 

Here is the layout of the combined mode (in case nobody has figured it out yet):

Swoop: back/wings
Grimlock: head/torso/thighs
Slag: right & left arms
Snarl: right leg
Sludge: left leg

 

wow. these have GREAT detail. Really nicely executed. If they come out in cartoon/toy accurate color schemes, I WILL buy them. If crazy rainbow colors, definitely won't.

 

Makes me so sad that these seem so far away.
