I think it would have been easier to just scratch build it given how much you've changed. It does'nt look like there will be any original plastic left.

thanks guys! it underwent upper body reconstruction again to make room for cassette storage
i will do only 1 for this. it should be finished by now if not for the chest gimmick but yea, i won't feel much satisfied if i didn't do it.

my idea of using OP is basically to be the base mold. the blocky parts, hinges on the head part and some other would consume much more time.
i made it up to stage 2 for the overall look and trim away the parts that doesn't fit my preferences for the final look/transformation sequence.
the parts looks easy to make but they are really small and time consuming to fully scratchbuild. sorry if you didn't like my approach on building this one :)

    ----------

here's another update for the head
    [IMG] [IMG]
putty stuff. extended arms. gonna drill holes on the hands later.

i had to fill up that nasty blunt side on the upper right part. :banghead:

    again thanks for looking! :rock

thanks guys! i'm glad you are interested :D
almost there hahahah! but that little hole we drilled last time? the hole was too small man, when i constructed the right foot with the right leg together with the screw, it literally got screwed. :banghead:  the back part of the foot was crushed. i am reconstructing it right now and use a bigger drill bit than what we used before.

that hang-out will be happening even more after i finish this. man, i just got even more extra tfa stuff for that tfa project

thanks for the encouraging words! it's coming near 100% after a few more operations :)

meanwhile, leaving Soundwave a bit for...

...oh wow. If you can pull that off, WST Ravage might have competition for the title of smallest transforming transformer! ...though that makes me think that, if you have him, some comparison shots with WST Soundwave when you're done would be awesome.
