"Primus then created Cybertron to serve as his resting place, at the center of which he rests as its core (i.e. Primus is the core of Cybertron) Primus created the ALLSpark to re-energize Cybertron when necessary and create the Transformers to guard Cybertron" Bluerayhidef posted this and got me thinking about Cybertron for a bit. The Fallen said once that; "The cubes power/energy can never be destroyed, only transformed. So I can make a safe assumption that Cybertron isn't destroyed, but a transformed energy that can be rebuilt using the power of the Allspark. But then again, would the allspark be enough to bring Cybertron back? Or is there another source of energy that can perform this function? I know very little of the TF lore, so it would be nice to hear from some experts.
Cybertron ≠ the AllSpark Cybertron can only transform when its in one piece, not particles flushed down a galactic toilet. The AllSpark probably could have restored the planet, if they still had the thing. And if that were the case, why hasn't the AllSpark repaired itself. I'd be pretty tired of being a fragment, carried in someone's pocket.
Cybertron's gone. The All Spark's gone. Primus doesn't seem to be part of the movie mythos the way it is in other media. End credits rolled. Deal with it.
From what Optimus said nobody knew of the Allspark's origin only that it has the power to create worlds and fill them with life. Basically Optimus described a Colonization probe. Meaning Cybertron in the beginning Cybertron was just a lifeless rock till till it received the Allspark. As seen in Transformers it can create primitive robotic lifeforms. From these primitive feral robots through evolution eventual born Autonomous synthetic life. All that life runs on Energon as Jetfire in ROTF it is their lifeblood. Energon keeps Cybertron alive and habitable. But the Allspark's supply wasn't infinite and needed recharging hence the Seven Primes original leaders of the Transformer race harvest suns to turn into Energon using a Sun Harvester and the Matrix of Leadership as a key. The Matrix is similar to the Allspark as it is the only other object in the film continuity able to produce Energon. One could argue Transformers are themselves Worker probes. Reconstructing their planet and bringing back Energon harvested.
