When I PMed you about making this weapon set, you mentioned actually making the- well you might not want me to spoil the surprise... :)
So err... Have you tinkered with making that extra cool idea you had to go with this set happen? Look like a possibility? Either way as soon as the set is all done I'm buyin em all!
    Voyager Sentinel really needed this.

    Thanks for your support!

This sounds like the auxiliary swords for Universe Drift with the handle hinge. Thanks for bringing that up! Let me think about it.

Aww...that gun doesn't look that bad...And I think honestly that gun was originally designed and scaled to the leader class figure. Hasbro wants you to buy both!

Nice idea...It'll be nice if the shield can be neatly stored atop the alt mode as well, replacing the current mechtech weapon and making it look more like the leader class.

But I think most people who orders this set will leave him in bot mode anyway.

    Soon...

For that I'll need the actual figure to reference from, which currently I do not have...Anyone cares to take measurements?

Anyone cares to take high quality screenshots of the gun? The DVD is out but I've yet to get a copy.

    :thumb

You mean the swords? Not really...I managed to create them in a day. The shield and gun will be a lot of work

    I don't think so..

    Magic Dust 3D :)

I actually thought about it and I realised if we want to be super accurate to the concept it will be very complicated. I might have to simplify some parts or make changes in order for it to work. It's still something worth pursuing though. I'll keep you guys updated!

ShapeCAD™ Ultimate version 8 for Windows XP!

I also use a special glove mouse HyperGlouse™ Ex that allows me to intricately add details to the mesh surfaces, which helps me deliver optimized product quality with an equal balance of tactile artistry and sheer ergonomic sophistication.

The HoloSight™ goggles that I use in my cadding sessions has an inbuilt HoloProjectia™ technology which projects high-definition holograms that helps me see past the immutable mesh surfaces deep into the core of my 3D shapes, overlaying stress meshes® and fractile distribution maps. With those, I can design pieces that undergo the most extreme elastic challenges without catastrophic breakage.

At the side, I really love a cup of Nescafé™ Clasico to perk me up during these marathon CAD sessions.

Thanks for the pictures, sir! They are still slightly blurry but I can reference them as a rough base before my DVD arrives.

Also, I was working on this halfway:

When I saw this come up in the news:

What do you guys think? Should I finish it? I was thinking of giving it 2 grips (1 vertical, 1 horizontal) but 5mm pegs only, no slot pegs.

I've gone frame by frame through DOTM and there are not really any good shots of SP's rust gun.

I had started on swords for OP as well, but if you want to continue I'll abandon mine.

And abandon all your hardwork? God forbid, no...I like what I see.
People can have different styles of forks and spoons after all, I believe we can co-exist peacefully :)

Yeah I can't get good shots of his gun too, but Daim did catch a few good details. Can't wait for my DVD!

FB: The sword you're making makes a great alternative to the Takara one. Thanks for making it. That's going to be a definite buy for me. ;)

Cool no problem. I just want to make sure I'm not stepping on any toes, especially since I'm designing weapons to fit your OP hands. The standard hands leave MUCH to be desired. So far what I did was start 3 different hilt options: standard hands, Mech Tech ports on OP's forearms, and for your hands.

Hell yeah, continue with the OP sword. I will get a few of these (if/when you finish), plus the voyager SP sword I saw in your store as well.

Well, you can get those swords at BBTS, but they are selling them for 50$... which is pricey. Granted, I think it was $30+, but regardless either price is too much for a simple pair of swords.

Let's see what the Shapeways price winds up being. FINISH THEM.

Swords are surprisingly cheap at Shapeways, I find. Since they charge by volume, anything flat is very affordable.

Huh? I thought everything should be available. Of course, OP's sword and OP's knuckle hands are not available yet. I want to get a sample first.

Try the links again? They should be working.
    Leader Ironhide hands
    Voyager Sentinel Swords
    Spiky leader Sentinel hands

    Hope this helps.
