Anyone used Collector Bam to sell anything yet? If so how did it go? Was there much interest etc?

Oh, and for anyone interested, had a newsletter today from the EBay seller Ratchetsclinic which said that he'll be putting preorder listings up for Deluxe Dino shortly.

I'm honestly wondering how he can be privy to concrete information regarding its release when nobody else has preorders, and Hasbro haven't even confirmed it exists yet.

Not the foggiest tbh, he does state 'in the coming weeks' so that might not even mean this year. I do trust him though, never done me wrong before, and always keeps his customers as updated as he can.

Be warned, their pre-order estimate times are rather innacurate on occasion. I'm not critisising their service at all - they're rather splendid - but just be aware of it.

If my spelling has gone out the window, apologies, I'm somewhat sedated at the moment.

Well, I bit the bullet and got onto matty collector.com bang on the time the sale started. Managed to procure all 4 ghostbusters with no trouble at all. Had to settle for ghostbusters 2 winston thoguh, as the other version flicked to sold out instantly.

I was hoping to get walter peck to, but I panicked that it was all going too smoothly and because of the massive "Please note that products are not guaranteed until you have reached the "Order Completed" page" that appears on every page.
I didn't want to hang around and miss out on the figures I really wanted.

    I gave into my fear

I'm kind of gutted, I really wanted walter peck so I could just hold him up and go "yes its true, this man has no dick"

Other than that annoying warning, i had no trouble with the site at all. Just got in, went through all the processes really quickly- job done.

Now im done with buying figures for a long time!!! No more!!!

I haven't yet, think I might put some stuff up this week or next though to try and clear out some things.

Also, finally managed to get the final 25g out of War for Cybertron earlier by finding the last Con symbol hidden on the very first chapter behind some wires. Bring on FOC :lol

I'll never be paying via gift again. I appear to have gotten screwed over by BruticusMax on here. Paid via gift, and now not responding to emails. F***ing scumbag. Not just me apparently either.

    Likely imports.

IIRC Hasbro UK initially said Nov, then said March.

It's just starting up at the moment, so not a massive amount on there. Needs to build up a community like eBay.

Mirage was called Dino in the DOTM Movie at the request of Ferrari. The storyboard was altered slightly as well, for reasons that will be apparent if you read the DOTM comic/book - I won't say exactly what/why here in case someone's been living under a rock and doesn't know ;)

For what it's worth, I think the DOTM comic's ending was far better than the movie ending. Subtle difference, but far more satisfying for me.

Regarding CollectorBam, I wish I had loads of stuff to list on there just to help get it rolling. We could all list our sales thread items on there as Buy-It-Nows to flesh it out a bit?

I believe the intention was for him to be called Mirage originally, but changed to Dino to pay homage to the founder of ferrari's son or something. It always seemed to me that this concession (along with the italian accent) was a little excessive just to sweeten the deal in allowing a Ferrari to be a Transformer, but hey, Micheal Bay, I guess.

Wow, so it seems people are being done over again? Its a damn shame to say such a thing, because the camaraderie is one of the most appealing aspects of this community, but we (myself included) are far too trusting of others on these boards.

I am likely to be listing a whole load of stuff on there and in a sale thread on FHM shortly, and I will put up a post here and throw a link in my sig when I have done. Seriously downsizing. :(

Damn I guess I'll have to import the Prime toys then...
Anyone reckon we'll get cyberverse prime by march? :p

I am stoked for season 2 of Prime! Sounds awesome from what we've heard at NYCC..
