Since when has Transformers made complete sense  

In all honesty, it's probably got something to do with Shockwave's machinations. It's also another way to slip another class (alt mode type) into the game.

 

Well according to some info, Shockwave actually gets his inspiration from Prehistoric Earth, and in turn, forces this mode on to Grimlock.

I'm still in love with this Grimlock design... Hopefully this gets the toy treatment, would make a worthy replacement for my Classics Grimmy! But in the meantime, I'm gonna be waiting for some actual in-game shots of this guy!

 

Aw. Shame Starscream didn't get a redesign. He was the only one I actualy WANTED to see changed.

 

Please god make this a toy and or playable multiplayer character.

The only problem with the game I see is it isnt out now. This studio seems to really like the TF brand and recognizes its better qualities and tried to put a coherrent storyline together for a game. As you get more used to making something you get better alot of the time DOTM is testament to that.
I honestly cant wait for them to do an in game remake of the battle on the ark as autobot and decepticons fight it out as they crash into the earth.

That will probably be the third game. One can wish cant they

Anybody there, and who plan on pre-ordering the game there...not interested in the poster? I would love to get a-hold of a copy of that poster, but since I'm not going to NYCC, and don't intend to pre-order the game (let alone at an event I'm not able to go to)...the only chance I have of getting one is from someone who was there, pre-ordered the game, but don't want the poster... 

 

I'm super hyped that he's a TRex though! For all those that say "Why is there a TRex on Cybertron?" I say "Logic? Where we're going, we don't need logic!"

Jeez, I want that poster. I do not even remotely care if the dino mode explanation makes no sense. They could not even bother explaining it and I'd be cool with it. It rocks.

 

This version of Grimmers definitely looks hardcore. I like how they're giving him a primitive, brutal sort of look, instead of something more accurate to a T-rex or goofy like G1 season 3. I don't think anyone has any reason to complain about bot mode. And seeing the guy in action--thanks for the pics!--I hope will lay to rest some of the gripes people had over the first impression we got from the Gameinformer cover.
