What happenes if you try and play them? (prolly placeholders for the Anniversary maps)

 

Played the TU Beta Playlist and all I have to say is DAT MAGNUM. That thing was amazing to use, it wasn't as overpowered as I thought it unfortunatly would be, but it's better than a reach magnum, so, yeah, it's awesome!

Well, I chose one of them, and it took me to Xbox Live Marketplace for Halo Reach stuff. Now they're gone, but I think what you said about them being placeholders may be right.

 

Since the Anniversary maps are going to be available as DLC then that's probably what they are. Was there one for firefight?

 

oh great...I was looking forward to my day off today so I could play this, but no, my school has made me come in for some art course thing. Fun. Guess i'll have to wait until I get home

Right guys, need a response to this ASAP! Am swapping my Xbox for another tomorrow, and was just wandering if my Halo account (armour rank and what-not) is stored online, and I don't need the same hard drive to use it. I'm pretty sure I don't but am just checkin  

 

Everything is stored online, all you need is to sign in with your gamertag.

 

Any reason you don't want to transfer your Hard drive?

 

Can you do the transfer in the shop? I wouldn't think that you could and i'm honestly not bothered about the rest of my Data, as i'm just going to trade in some of those games. Also since anniversary is coming out, i'll be playing that for a while along with Battlefield 3 so the rest of my game data isn't needed and gives me something to do if I get bored. (I don't have that much games, just BC2, Reach, ME2 and some assassins creed)

 

Bit of a Reach noob here (friend of mine got it and a 360 recently, and we've been playing for a couple of weeks now). I was wondering if someone could tell me what rank I would need to reach to unlock and purchase the Pilot helmet, HP/Parafoil chest, and Mk.V shoulders. I'm currently a Warrant Officer, and assume it'll be a good while before I'm unable to unlock them.

A long way. I think it is Brigadier. You have a better chance now than when the game was new. There's big challenges these days, and will probably be jackpots come Halo Anniv. (Which will revitalise the multiplayer)

 

Hmm...that sucks, and what sucks even more is we don't play online at all, so challenges aren't a factor for us.

 

Then I'm sorry, but you'll be old and grey by the time you get it. The level system is entirely online based. Plus there's a really dumb daily credit cap for offline players.

 

That really sucks. With them keeping 4-person split-screen for the Halo games, you would think they would at least attempt to keep offline players in the mix of things. I get the idea of expanding online stuff, but it seems like they're forgetting those who would rather play with people in-person than those online.

 

If you're sure that you won't ever play online and are unopposed to cheating you could always hack your save file. It's actually quite easy to do and will unlock almost anything for you with regards to armour. The only catch is that you can't go online with it or you will have your credits reset and you may risk being banned from Bungie servers.

Personally I just created a few dummy accounts to mess around with, then disconnected from live when I needed to use them (it was for a machinama project), then when I wanted to connect online again, I just used my old profile that I had been working on since launch.

 

I doubt I'll ever use the profile I have on his 360 for online stuff, so I might look into that. Might also just make a second one on there for use just offline, and keep the first one just in case we ever do play over live. Though when I eventually get my own 360, I'll probably sign-up for live and play online.
