I think it might be actually worth making the legs metal so it's durable still and maybe the feet could be a little shorter. It also might be worth giving him an alternative weapon set like a Chain gun and rocket cluster box, or giving him swing out wing extensions on his normal rockets (so he can fly better in beast mode). especially if extra weapons were swappable with other cassettes and Not-Soundwave too. I'd be all over a new Overkill & Ratbat cassette though. As I'm perfectly happy with my Bootleg Memory stick not-Ravage if i'm honest i'd rather have a bunch of third party memory sticks based on the Cassettes. Seems a nice idea though in general. Someone once suggested the idea of making cassette characters double thickness - which I thought was an interesting idea - so they'd work with Soundblaster and Soundcaster only but allow them to be chunkier in alt mode.
That Ravage looks shitty (not to mention unnecessary). I'm waiting to see updated rumble/frenzy/laserbeak.
@ them actually calling it "Not-Ravage"... They didn't even bother to come up w/ a name, so how far out must him & his Cassetticon brethren be? Design-wise he looks nice (at least for a Cassetticon)... But the only Soundwave I have is Cybertron; so unless the Cassetticons are reasonably priced, if not bundled, I'm not likely to get any. & thinness is an issue w/ a 3rd Party, as it goes beyond general plastic quality issues to the plastic needing to be flawless... As mentioned, Metal might be the way to go, for stability & structural integrity. Also, I don't get what people are saying about the size of his paws being too big...
G1 Ravage and indeed a real cat have much shorter feet/paws than that (feet not legs) and it looks like his wearing slippers with such big feet on him.
I'm not seeing it. Many the Catbots I have (TM Cheetor & the Voltron Lions) have similarly proportioned paws to forelegs (1:2). This is also more of a Classics Ravage than G1, so liberties are taken.
I'm eager to see how this turns out. It would be nice to own a 3 dimensional Ravage that's well articulated, and doesn't come with a huge price tag due to the word label being stuck to it's name.
Considering the negative responce towards BTS Soundwave, I wouldn't be surprised if it was scrapped. Personally I would still venture out to make GOOD Neo G1 Cassettes because of G1 Soundwave and the upcomign MP Soundwave that holds G1 Cassettes. Also, anyone who did buy the BTS Soundwave would probably buy the cassettes too.
well.. i bought it, it's not that bad, lot's of room for improvement.. Who's making the MO Soundwave, saw it but don't recall, same guys that are working on the MP Blaster?

Huh, this is out?? Chaosbringer, care to share some pictures? Very interested in seeing how it stacks up to the G1 and the classics version.
