Well, I knew Paramount would try and make TF4; it was only a matter of time. I hope they let this one gestate for about four years to give the movie franchise a break, and then come out in 2015 full guns blazing. Just make sure the plot doesn't involve Unicron reviving Megatron or any dead 'Cons, and we're golden.

Meh, who says they will have to have decepticons in the sequel? The transformers in the movies aren't the main focus anyway - wouldn't surprise me if it was autobots + us army vs another country or another alien race

Dude... TF Prime is awesome but do you think it makes anywhere near what the movies have/could make? No way. In the eyes of Hasbro/Paramount a movie will ALWAYS take precendence over ANY series. The movies sell more toys and have way more overall revenue.

That said, I wish the would focus more on WFC2 (YAY!) but aside from a small run of figures it won't happen :(

I agree about a break. However I'm sure the majority of the TF fans out there would very strongly disagree with your opinion on Unicron. Though I do believe that if Unicron is invloved that Megatron should not be ressurected. That said, I would still like to see Galvatron as the main protagonist, as long as he is a completely new character like the "Chaos" series depicts.

Right now I don't think it means anything. For all we know they picked up on Tyrese saying "of course there will be a fourth one" and ran with it.

I'm inclined to wait until a press release or an official announcement is made before frontpaging.

For the most part, I liked the movies. The first one, I thought was perfect. The last two though, I had huge gripes with the lack of the character development for Transformers that weren't Prime or Bee (although, honestly, I could never get tired of Optimus) so, with the fact that the latest movie grossed over a billion WW, I'd love to see an AWE budget going towards the next one, just so we can get some damn good Transformers time.

Not to mention TF3 has just pulled in the number 4 SPOT ALL TIME....I think it's almost guaranteed they aren't rebooting it....in their eyes, probably too risky for the general public.

As much as I am in love with the thought, I don't think it would be a good idea to have a TF 4.

Granted there are numberous villians and they can make huge profits because its popular but I think Paramount needs to let it go.

WHAT???? Are you fucking crazy? Why should they let it go when I, and countless others are still open for a forth film?????? I don't know where I read it, but some poster once said, Optimus has his arm off, he did kill a great deal of Decepticons, popular ones that are guaranteed to continue the war, but now that war goes from trying to save Cybertron, to good ole fashion revenge. This shit is not even close to ending. It's actually just begun.

Transformers, Part 4, bring it on!

DOTM was made to be the last of the series. Much like TLW was made to be the last of the Jurassic Parks and we all know where that went on to become. Transformers has had a good run and Ive enjoyed going to see them every 2 years for the last five however Id rather they let the series rest for a couple decades and maybe revisit it with a reboot.

I have no doubt the dollar signs will bring a TF4 at some point, but it bums me out to see Jurassic Park 4 there as well, and its been like forever that it has been 'in development', so it makes me doubt transformers4 just a little.

Also, despite how much Bay wants to not call DOTM the biggest TF movie yet, it is. You cannot top what DOTM had. A fourth would end up being underwhelming then the last. Unless theres a miracle in the story making process, however I doubt it.
