Our friends at <a href="http://fantofan.jp/" target="_blank">Fan2Fan</a> have posted some new scans from Figure Oh! magazine. One of the scans shows new images for the proto for MP-03 Starscream. this shows a stand for the jet mode, the underside of the jet mode and more.

- New Kiss Convoy images showing comparisson to Alt Optimus Prime.

that starscream is the best thing out of transformers since the last alternator i bought (i cant remember which one it was but it was a year ago!)

 

wow, Starscreams proportions look MUCH better in that 3/4 angle. I'm thinking the shot we got yesterday wasn't the most glamorous angle  

yeah, that's pretty dramatic. I'm still on the fence, i just don't think the molds good at all, but it's so much better than the Alt version, do i get it for completionists sake (i have every BT and original Alt except Ravage)? ...must resist, MP Convoy is good enough for me...

 

so Mp Screamer comes with the platform. Cool.

 

I wonder if they kept the chest missles for Starscream?

 

Wow... What a difference a few paint apps make on Convoy/Prime when they stand next to each other... I'm not sure if I like the chromed grill on the alt mode though Convoy... I don't remember Rams having a chrome grill... Do they???

Wow. MP Starscream looks fantastic. I can't wait to get 2, one of robot mode and one for alt mode.

How anyone can complain about him is beyond me.

Oh well, some people aren't happy unless they're miserable....

 

Yeah, I'm facing the same dilemma... We must resist the temptation of the ugly molds!

 

Is anyone else disturbed by the female figures from the Kiss line? I've watched my share of ecchi anime, but this just makes me shudder.

Yup Screamer looks way better in that angle. I have a question: Where the heck do those big arms go in alt mode???

 

By apparently buying Galaxy Force DVD, vol. 13. The sentence that mentions "Noisemaze Mass Production Type" explains this. Other than that, pray that somebody wants the DVD set and not the fig. and beg for it.  

 

They can buy the DVD without the figure. The DVDs by themselves cost about $60, so your only paying about $30 for that recolor if you can turn arround and sell the DVD.

Mass production eh, that means we should spend the cash and buy a few of them right?

 

Starscream is a thing of beauty. I hope we see Skywarp and Thundercracker but I wonder. Takara never released them opting instead for ghost Starscream, black Starscream and Sunstorm.

Thats why the figure seems a bit off. Showing the Starscream prototype at a new angle simply masks some of it's falws. I do see a ray of hope. The preview apparantly states that they are still looking to improve the figure. In that case I will repost this pic....

 

With those mods, the waist area looks too slim and not "transformer" like. It gives a much too human look to it. Plus, when you turn that mod 45 degrees, it makes the waist look even thinner. I like the way the crotch area is a bit bigger than the legs; It's the classic look of Transformers to me.

the amount of re enginering needed to scale up and manipulate the toy in question like you want probally isnt cost effective.

i'm happy with the toy, the reasons for its proportions have been covered to death so i can accept what we've got.
