may your soul find many journeys that cross with the journeys of others you once knew, and always find your way home.

 

Wow. Shocked for sure. I only dealt with Gary a couple times, but he was very friendly and always willing to help a fellow collector out. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. I'm sure he's in a better place.

Rest in peace Gary.

 

I never knew him, but his loss brings tears to my eyes just the same. None of us will live forever and some of us will go sooner than others, but to take someone this young, who has a wife and children, it just seems so wrong...

 

Though I did not know him, it appears he left his mark on many, and I offer my condolences to his friends and family. Rest in peace.

 

  He sounded like an awesome fellow.  

 

There is a link on the front page where we can donate through Paypal to help Gary's family. Think about it, how many of us spend $100 or more a day or a week on Toys? We can do without those toys for a while. Even if you didn't know Gary (which I didn't), he was one of US. We have the chance to be the kind of person he was and help someone without thinking of ourselves. I know some of you can't afford to give a lot, so give what you can, but for those who, like me, spend large amounts of money on toys, I want you to consider donating a day, a week, or a month's worth of toy money. Let's do what Gary would have done. For those of you who don't use Paypal, don't use that as an excuse. I'm sure there is an address where you can send a check or money order. This is our chance to do the right thing, I'm sure Gary would have..

Edit: I've set up a file on my desktop that's going to be there everytime I turn on my computer. It says,
"Before you buy a toy, think about Gary and his Family." followed by the Paypal link. I intend to leave it up for at least a month, maybe longer.

 

Never knew the guy, but that sucks that he died. Condolences to his wife and their families.

 

I apologize for being late in giving my condolences. I guess I've just been thinking of the right words to say for this, but I'm not sure I can. I didn't know Gary, but I did see him on the boards...I guess all I can really say is may he RIP, and I wish the best for his family during this difficult time.

 

R.I.P. Gary. I can't remember if I ever had the pleasure of meeting him or not in person but my prayers go out to his wife and family.

I heard about this the other day but it didn't really sink in that much. I read it now and it is just so hard to take. My heart and thoughts go out to his family and to all who knew him better than I did. RIP
