Got luck and scored a Steve Rodgers today! Funny thing was him and Sub-Mariner were the only ones left on the peg from his wave. We also apparently got another set of wave 12 at my Wal-Mart as I was able to finally pick up a Spider-Woman... left the rest of her wave behind though. Still need to get Doc Samson and Captain Marvel, but I only had enough funds for two figures for now.

Also, after that I ran into the ENTIRE set of wave 14 at my wife's Wal-Mart! Crap! It's funny because I haven't seen anything new at either store in months and suddenly both get hit with two of the newest waves. And it had to be right after my daughter's birthday party so I've got no extra funds for at least another week or two. At least it's a good sign that both stores near me are starting to get new stock in.

Anyways, Steve is a great figure. Jessica... eh... I really hope to see the new female buck soon, because the old one really limits characters like Spider-Woman that usually strike some pretty dynamic poses.

X-23 is the debut of a new female body type.

Oi. Shame I'll be passing on her. Have no interest in getting X-Force versions of characters. Hopefully we'll see her regular outfit in a later wave.

Good idea. Either way is better than paying $20 now.

Grabbed the X-23 today. Totally didn't expect to see any new Marvel U figures. I passed up on Cable once and I totally regret it. Anyways X-23 is pretty nice! I don't really collect the line but X-23 ain't so bad.

BBTS ended up getting wave five in so I ordered that and wave four. I really only have interest in a couple figures from each wave but maybe the others will grow on me once I ship my order out.

I'll keep an eye out, but if someone feels charitable, and would get me one for cost plus shipping. I woud appreciate it.

So I just bought the newest wave from BBTS, and looking at the picture, it seems Absorbing Man has a full metal variant. I wonder which one they will ship!

It was... weird. I think the best part really was the internal bickering between Ross and Banner until they finally found the one thing they could agree on so that they could work together to control the combined body. Heh. Outside of that it was just... weird.

Also just a warning for anyone getting a Darkhawk. His claws are VERY fragile. One of mine broke off straight out of the pack. It was probably my fault for taking him out too forcefully, but still, just be careful you don't break any.

Superglue fixed it for me though! =)

Anyone know where to get a Stretch Strike Venom for a decent price, I've seen a few on ebay but not sure about ordering outside of the U.S. b/c of the postal service

About 2-3 weeks ago I saw remnants of the wave he's in at a Target and a Stop & Shop that were both in the same area.

But yeah, I'm looking for him too...:(

I don't mind paying $15-$20 for him but that's with shipping, there's a ton of the 1st release of the venom here in the area where I'm at I just haven't picked it up yet in hopes of finding this one

I should indeed! I like Perez's art, and Busiek's Avengers run may be my favorite yet, even if I only read bits and pieces of it (mostly the one Kang story he did, Kang is another favorite of mine. Local library has the TPB for that Kang).

    Just recently.

I got a spare green Hulk no one's yet wanted, and I'm pondering repainting him into that thing, or just painting him blue to make Blue Hulk, just cause.

Not to derail this thread from toys that actually exist, but if you could pick 5 characters for an upcoming wave, what would your dream wave be? Mine would have to be

Daken (costumed, plus a maskless variant)
    Flash Thompson Venom
    Dr. Nemesis
    Fantomex w/ E.V.A
    Chamber

Now that I look at that, pretty much 4 of those character's are X orientated, but still. Would be amazing!

    I'd say

    90s Beast
    Emma Frost
    Clear Invisible Woman
    Professor X
    comic-style Odin
