    I had also noticed quite a ways back that Optimus, for whatever reason, CANNOT hit a moving target (or at least flying ones).
    Maybe he just needs some target practice? Shooting lessons? Maybe an IDW Perceptor-style monocle...

    Actually, these glasses fit his face and camouflages the lack of a nose!! WIN! :thumb 

    I think the shots MISS because 1) Optimus really doesn't want to KILL anybot or con..2) The lack of energon has made target practice a luxury the Autobots can't afford.

    the only targets he shot are megatron(chest and cannon hole) and starscream(arm)

    Seeing the two photoshop pictures, all that's missing from making Optimus looking even closer to Peter Cullen is a moustache.

    Moustaches+glasses on Prime... Any takers?

    Btw, good discussion. But I think all of the main robots need glasses. Hmmm... Megatron with glasses, eh? And Ratchet will look more like a Medical officer with some glasses too!

    What Prime really needs is to use lasers that travel with a respectable velocity. Seriously, the most basic manmade firearms can fire bullets at supersonic speeds, but lasers only go at 40 mph? Get outta here.

    Was watching the end of DR pt 5 today and noticed when Megs threw the DE into the Space Bridge, Optimus did miss hitting the DE numerous times....if it doesn't effect the story plot then it won't be hit. :)

    You know, this thread reminds me of this one scene in the G1 cartoon where Optimus said taht something didn't affect his aim. I mean come on, what aim?
