The horde of Bumblebees are fine, not one of them is that bad that it deserved to be burned at the stake in some other thread, unless I missed it.

Now Blue-pants-Ironhide or Forearms-of-Doom-Optimus Prime, now those too grow on you... like warts or rashes.

I've never cared for Moviebee; I have the only one I'll ever need in the form of Battle Blades Bee. I got him one day in the mid of a Transformers drought vaguely recalling that he was a good figure apparently, not because he was 'bee. And oh boy is he great.

Only Movie Bumblebee toy I ever wanted was TFTM concept Camaro version. But thanks to my son there are lots of Movie Bumblebee toys in my house. I rather dislike ROTF Deluxe, but actually DOTM deluxe has grown on me. He's a good representation of the character IMO.

I wanted to collect all the bees when the first movie came out, then when rotf came out with a few more bees I decided it wasnt worth the money to go after anymore with just minor changes. Even though I was drawn to battle blades and nitro bee, I still saw them as "another dang bee"

No. Good movie toys I guess, but I still prefer my G1 lil vw brick guy. I also hate it when people call him "Bee" Would you guys still be calling him that if Shia hadn't said the line?

I've never been a fan of movie Bumblebee, and he's only grown to annoy me more over the years. This annoyance extends to Prime Bumblebee, who is the basically same guy. Neither of them is G1, G2, Classic, RTS Bumblebee, who is a character I like.

Animated Bumblebee is also annoying to me for different reasons, but he's a different character from either of the two above.

The overwhelming amount of BB toys, merch, ads, etc have certainly done their job in getting me used to his design. It was pretty shocking to see the early spy pics in early 2007 or so.

He will never grow on me. Now if they actually brought a voice actor in for him in DOTM, maybe...

Movie related - I guess I can understand why he didn't "talk" in the first movie, but after 2 more movies and the dude is still a mute? Seriously

He did grow on me , only thing is if they wanna make more of him do the 77 Camaro again . All the shows I go to everyone I speak with says two things .
"Hasbro or Taraka should make another classic camaro bumblebee" and "Why did they never make a leader class Barricade ? , Bumblebee has no one to fight in his scale "

No, he hasn't, he has all of the personallity of a dumb jock and the toys are over saturated and shelfwarming horribly, even on clearance. The only one I can see myself buying now is the hellfire version :lol

The concept camaro has been on the shelves solely as Bumblebee for 3+ years now and as a result there's just nothing special about it. To date I only bought the Human Alliance version and the 09 concept and that's all I feel I need for the character (though I am tempted to pick up the Battle Blades version on the cheap.)

First movie he was just mildly annoying. Not a fan of radio speak and Bumblebee as a muscle car just doesn't click for me. Love the car, just not as Bumblebee.

Second film he got on my list of characters I will always hate because they had him kill off Ravage just because Bumblebee hadn't killed enough characters in the film by that point.

Then it became like when GI Joe had to revolve around Snake Eyes or everything X-Men had to have Wolverine's name in big letters. Popular characters are okay but when companies start over exploiting a popular character they just don't feel cool any more.

At least with Transformers Animated I could get away from the yellow bastard because Animated Bumblebee wasn't anything like movie Bumblebee except they were both named Bumblebee and they liked a yellow paint job. But ouch there just isn't any escaping movie Bumblebee now because they had to put him on Transformers Prime only now even radio speak is gone for beeping and booping all the time.

I dont remember if it was the novel version or in the movie, but it was stated that Megatron injured bumblebee, so ratchet gas been working on bumblebee for a very long time.

Didn't it start to function at the end of the first movie?

Either that or Ratchet is a very incapable bot. Btwn the First movie and the second, they had a long time to form a human alliance. Btwn the second and third movie, Optimus got upgrades, etc. And yet Ratchet still couldn't take care of a sound box?

I would buy a (new) Deluxe and HA '70s Camaro Bee, TBH. That would be cool beans.
