does anyone get kind-of sad looking back at the first film?

I mean like, just 5 years ago we were all so pumped for the first film and we were like "ohh yeah this gonna be an epic trilogy" and now its all over :(  (i know there is a chance of a 4th film but they arent gonna be done in the same way as we know it)

Seriously though, the whole "holy shit i cant wait to see what ILM and Michael Bay has made this time" feeling is gonna be gone for quite a while :(

    Good times...

I remember being so excited and all for the third movie. From the moment DOTM was confirmed, I started to watch updates on YouTube. The wait for DOTM was fun, and when we got our first full trailer, I felt like jumping out of the window from the excitement I felt inside. Really, I can't believe it's all over. I hope the wait for Transformers 4 is as fun as it was for DOTM.

I can still remember the first day of the first movie. I was near the back of the line of the premiere. Unfortunatly, got a really low seat and Uncomfirtable. But my friend who I helped get a ticket for saved me a seat near the top. I didn't even expect the excitement, but the scene when Optimus scanned the Truck and transformed into it, Everyone cheered out really loud.

Yes :cry  I remember walking out of the theater, with the battle
from TF1, and arrival replaying over and over again in my head.
I Didn't know anything about Transformers before that, But I
Loved it right away, and I wanted to learn more about Optimus, and the Autobots
and the Decepticons, after DOTM, I was so exited about what I Just watched
but then it hit me...it was over, for a while anyway, and I really don't want
    it to be over:(

I remember seeing the preview for TF1 on TV where SS transforms under the bridge and comes back up in robot form on the other side. I remember, literally nerd-gasming right there and knowing that I was going to love these movies. The first scene where Blackout transform in the desert still gives me an adrenaline rush.

The first film will always mean a lot to me as it was what got me into Transformers. I remember thinking I would never like it. One day some friends were going to see it so I went with them and I loved it.

I remember the long wait for ROTF. Watching Darkneoroxas Updates on Youtube. I didn't really care about spoilers back then. I actually read the plot on Wikipedia from the Japanese release. I was very excited about seeing the second.

It wasn't quite the same for the third because of the lack of hype and I had to be careful because I started wanting to avoid spoilers. Unfortunately I got a lot of stuff spoiled.

I tried to get into that feel of "this is finally the end to how it started for me" but that is hard when the person you go with can never shut up. I was quite excited when the movie started. It was so exciting that when there was something that wasn't spoiled I more "WOW Awesome!" Than "Whoa! I didn't see that coming."

I will always remember the first movie as the beginning of it all.

I remember thinking before the first movie was released that it would be an ok movie. My opinion changed as I saw each tv spot and they made my jaw drop. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to watch the first one in the theater and when I saw the movie on DVD, I immediately regretted not seeing it in the theater. It is my favorite movie of all time. It turned me into a Transformers fan and a movie buff. I constantly searched the web for news on ROTF and DOTM. It will always be a special movie to me because it inspired me to write sci-fi stories of my own. Now that it's over, a piece of my childhood has gone. At least we still have Transformers Prime.

I'm only sad that the movie wasn't better. It had potential to be an awesome movie, and it just let me down.

You know, despite the fact that ROTF ruined the trilogy for me, I can't help but say yes.
Mostly because the movies marked the return of Jazz and Bumblebee to canon outside comics.
(This was followed by anger when Jazz died)

I have to say, when I saw the first trailer, I thought it would be dumb. I didn't go to see it in a theater and it was months after the home release that I actually saw it...........AND LOVED IT!!! :)  I had tears rolling down my face when I first saw Optimus, and seeing Ironhide was pure joy. My Jazz was absolutely beautiful!! Perfect........just wish we could have seen more of him before my heart broke seeing him die.

I thought Bay did a real good job, and readily took up wait for #2. Finding out about #3 made me silly with happiness and I then joined forums(up until then I had just visited), and kept up to date. Now I'm sad it's over, there's not much to look forward to, but I'm hoping someone will come along and do #4...............or something a bit different. I could never get tired of TF's, ever. They are a part of me that's here to stay.

I have to say how quickly the time went from a confirmed #3 to the theater. It was alot of fun and very exciting. Have to say I'm glad to have been a part of it.

Well, at least we have the possibility of a 4th film, so we should be also excited...we could be hearing some interesting news in a while.

So I think we can also have fun waiting like we did for ROTF and DOTM and TF1.

I'll really be sad once the 3D Blu ray has been out for a little while cause that is the last thing to complete the trilogy.

I remember I never wanted to see the first film, but once, when I went to London, I saw that just about every billboard was advertising Transformers. Eventually I got the DS game to keep me occupied on holiday, as soon as I got back I was begging my friends to go see the film with me (didn't help that there was an advert for the film right next to our holiday apartment). I still remember jumping all over the house in excitement for it, and walking out of the cinema in pure awe at what I had just seen
However I do remember when I firsty saw the trailer, even though I hadn't watched anything TF related in about 6 years, I said to myself "OMG that's Optimus" when I saw that truck driving through the alley

I remember hearing in highschool (2000ish) they were gonna make one and my brain went nuts with possibilities. Live action? How beautifully detailed!
It hit me as I walked out of thr theatre... I have nothing to obsess over anymore. My trilogy is done. That thing I spent over 10 years reading wikis and forums and watching videos and scouring for pictures is done.

Much love to the movie series.

Not really, because I know in a few years from now (three to five) it’s going to power up again. I see this period as just a little break.
