I only own the true Transformers movie (86) I have four different versions actually. But I didn't buy any of the bay transformers, knowing a boxset was in the works. Ill wait until all the extras are in. Deleted scenes etc, if any

If you had a BD-Drive on your computer and the appropriate software, the only thing you'd need is the BluRay disc. I currently have Revenge of the Fallen on my Zune HD; the file was converted from the .m2s file on the BluRay disc.

I will be, though I'm sad that none of the retailer-exclusive covers haven't really wowed me. Looks like I'll just be getting the standard Optimus cover and see if we see some fancier exclusives with the Special Edition.

You need some sort of software to remove the protections of the BluRay disc; removing them allows you to copy or play the .m2s files directly off of the disc; the software I use is AnyDVD HD. You then need some sort or video conversion software; I use YouTube Downloader.

Nope. I'll be more than happy with a free digital AVI or MKV version until the physical special/deluxe/collector/whatever editions are released in November.

Hell yes. I will be re-gifting or selling my individual ones once the trilogy set comes out, but for now I can watch DotM over and over in hi def, or carry it around in my pocket :D

Yes, I will most definitely be double dipping. Gonna get the reg version when

comes out next friday and the two disc special edition in December(if that is

the actual release date). I will also get the trilogy set.

Would it be against the rules for me to embed a YouTube video of a scene from ROTF playing on my Zune HD? I'd just like to show everyone that you can make your own digital copy and put it on your portable devices.

I got the 2 disc special edition of Transformers 1, still need to get the 2 disc DVD of Transformers 2.

Then if the 2 disc special edition of Transformers 3 is good with good bonus features then I might buy it or just end up getting the dumb combo pack DVD+Blue Ray

    I...want...special features!!

I didn't fall for Avatar's immediate release, and I'm not going to fall for this ploy.

I can imagine myself going Berserker Optimus on a stand in Best Buy, before ripping the cardboard display apart and yelling, 'YOU DIE!!!' (note I said 'imagine')

There wasn't and isn't any ploy to fall for. When Avatar was released, they made it very clear that the first run would be the watered down version and that the big deluxe/special edition would follow later. It's exactly what they did with the Lord of the Rings releases, and what they're doing now with the DOTM release.

Someone should make a bad joke about how this is like dipping your entire protoform into the energon, or something to that effect.

Thanks, I ended up downloading a free trial of a software called DVD Fab. Pretty much just downloaded the movies to a iOS friendly file.
