So I finally got Leader Starscream (such an amazing figure) but does his backpack lock or peg into anything when in robot form?

The panel that was covering his head in jet mode can be slid over his backpack assembly, kind of holding it in place. Unless I'm just being stupid, there are no pegs, sir.

Yep. You're just relying on the tightness of the hinges, and the friction of that panel clipping into the top of it to keep it up.

Both are quite tight on mine, there's certainly no risk of it flopping around.

If you have a 1/48 Yam Valk it's the same deal that tab on near the back of the head connects and keeps the wing kibble attached instead of floppy.

The hinge holding the panel behind his head slides tightly into the backpack's slot, holding it safely.

^ I find doing such leaves a gaping hole at the back of his head. So valk style ftw!

Not only does that hinged back panel clip into the wing backpack securely, it also makes a handy-dandy place to store his missiles (just tuck them underneath the panel) in case you don't want to peg them into the holes on his wings. There's surprisingly very little kibble on this awesome mold, I think!

Might be a custom, or a third-party thruster/saw set. I recall one being made, but don't know if it's out yet.
