I think its hilarious that in the instruction sheet, for DOTM Skyhammer, that it tells you to pull off the helicopter blades to transform him, when there is no possible way to do this!
Anybody else find something like that on any other TF? Post it here!

 

With Skyhammer that is a knowon variant on the instructions and was not included with all Skyhammers. It appears to be based on earlier transformation that was scrapped. Personally i would not mind if they did come off it would make the transformation a bit easier since you would not have to work around the rotors. Not a big deal but it would be slightly easier.

 

I hate that instruction. At first I thought mine was a detect because it didn't come off.

 

Ya i agree it would make the transformation easier, but i wonder how many kids have broken theirs trying to follow the instructions!

 

I have to shake my head when the toy is packed in robot mode, and the instructions start from alt mode to robot mode. Somebody didn't get a memo...

 

I hate how leader Starscream's instructions dont tell you how to move the panel that covers his face in vehicle mode.

 

i havent messed with it in awhile, but i think the blades cam off!?! and not in a breaking way...

also im not sure if its on everyones but my dotm megatron only has the red part not the actual figure on step #6

You know when the instructions tell you to move/slide/rotate a portion of the figure, the specific part is highlighted so you know which part it is? Well, in step #6 on DOTM Voyager Megatrons instructions, only the highlighted part (his arms) is present. The rest of the figure is missing from the image. I'll grab a scan of it later, not currently able to do so.

jkjk but wow, it amazes me when a transformer is transformed wrong on the box/in the instructions(Cybertron Leader Prime comes to mind...).

 

One of my many Transformer Pet peeve. Not that I need instructions, but because it pisses me off to no end that hasbro would drop the ball like that. Poor kids.

 

I got Skyhammer from a friend for my birthday and immediately tried to pull of the blades but they wouldn't come off. I thought it was just being stubborn so I yanked on it and tore the blade and pulled out the thing holding it to the toy. Skyhammer remains one of the few transformers I have ever broken because of that stupid instruction.

Luckily, she had the receipt.

hahahaha i remember that vaguely, i wished i knew where i put my copy of her instructions

basically i forget what words it was, i think her name or something, was written in the style he made his post with random capitalizations
