If he's in the movie, he'll get a toy. Why do people always think that just because we haven't seen the protos or anything we're not gonna get a figure?

No. If Hasbro was going to release him we would have heard something by now, and we haven't. All we've heard are unconfirmed and baseless rumors on here from individuals with no real proof to support their claims.

With the TF: Prime line taking over the role of the Main Line in March, I don't seen enough time for anything but repaints between What We know Is Coming Out and the start of the Prime line. G1 Wheeljack, Soundblaster, and maybe a few other repaints (blue Jolt? white Barricade?) is all that's left in my opinion. I don't see Leader Megatron or Shockwave happening either. (Not without repaints of the existing DOTM leaders coming first.)

As such, a new mold Mirage is probably not in the cards. Additionally, I don't really see Mirage working as a repaint. Maybe a red Jolt with a new head?

 

Deluxe Mirage isn't going to happen. We'll be seeing the same toys on shelves for the next decade if the past few months have been any indication, and Mirage hasn't had anything but an RPM. If there was ANY real desire to make a figure of him there'd at least be a legend out by now.

 

There will be a follow up line running alongside Prime, like HFTD and Generations, or Movie 1 and Animated. Mirage will have a new mold

 

They were trying their best to get the Ferrari license, they failed, and now he's getting the ROTF Sideways treatment

 

To be fair, the past few months have been the lull period between the big points of toy sales (movie release a few months back and the upcoming Christmas rush), so Hasbro has no need to release mass amounts of new figures during this time period while they wait for the initial movie toys to sell (which was overstocked on wave one, unsurprisingly, meaning a lot of the more recent stuff is only just now hitting shelves).

But we have a confirmed Prime "First Edition" preview line for November, all new DOTM stuff is to be released by Christmas, and Generations is confirmed to be continuing if the mere existance of Sky Shadow (Black Shadow update) says anything. And Hasbro would have to be STUPID if they didn't continue to milk the movie line since TF4 is pretty much confirmed by Hasbro, so we'll be getting an in-between movie line as well.

Let's just hope that doesn't mean Mirage's toy will SUCK as much as ROTF Sideways.

 

I know, it's just getting incredibly annoying seeing the same toys for so long when we've been seeing what should already be on the shelves for weeks.
