The Headmaster series and the 3 issue movie comic are in Vol.6 of the original run of IDW TPBs, no reason not to expect them this time.

Really? I didn't know. I totally ignored them before because they were missing content. Now my cards are all on the table. What about G2? (I have the Titans of those, but still...)

No G2 in the first IDW run, but Vol.4 has a largish section of character descriptions/data sheets mostly of head/targetmasters and combiners.

Can someone direct me to some info about the up-coming UK versions?

If they re-printing the complete set of 1-81 it's going to be something like seven volumes. Add in the UK stuff, and you're looking at anouther 10 volumes?

Funny that this is announced a couple of weeks after I went hardcore into collecting the UK comics!

We got Headmasters in the first edition of Volume 6, if memory serves.

They put Headmasters and the original movie adaptation in there. Honestly surprised though that IDW hasn't reprinted GI Joe vs Transformers given they have rights to both.

Is there an overlap of stories between the US and UK release? To clarify, are issues 1-80 the same for both US and UK?

    Some info on the wiki.

The UK Classics TPBs from IDW will aim to reprint all the original UK based stories from the Marvel UK TF comic, including stuff from the annuals, over about 8 volumes. The first volume covers up to #44 and the first annual, the second volume will go up to #77, not sure what annuals will be in there.

There's also going to be bonus material sections about the free gifts included with the issues [transfers, posters, badges, etc], interviews with the creators, background info and the like. James Roberts has put a lot of work into it.

Definately going to be collection both the TF Classic US and the UK ones when I get a chance. IDW been doing a great job with Classic G.I. Joe and this promises so far to have the same level of quality.

I didn't see this mentioned, but this looks like volume 2 in the series:

    Transformers Classics Volume 2

So perhaps they are indeed going to complete the entire run.

I would be so disappointed if they didn't finish the whole thing. As to the UK volumes, if you have the Titan books, it looks like there will be more included in IDW's.
