Minor/Repaint: Evangelion Unit 01

    after watching the series, movies, and New Movie Editions, optimus decided to get a purple, green, and orange repaint…

    too bad the painter sucked.

    the black spray i worked with clumped up a lot, and feels almost sandpapery. drybrushed purple on the robot parts, used a metallic green gundam marker for the highlights which almost light up when there's light bouncing off of a surface and onto it.

    spraying left a cool checkerboard pattern i decided to keep.

    shinji-esque driver but the tab on the door that pushes him into the driving position broke.

    What kind of black spray did you use? I've used Krylon for Plastic before and it's great. It's also cheaper than getting the spray on primer that companies like Games Workshop sell.

    Cool idea for Prime. I suppose he'll have to start eating all the faces he rips off.

    funny thing is that SG Optimus' colors look like EVA 1's colors

    Win. I don't like any movie primes, but I can certainly enjoy anything eva themed! i have been wanting an EVA themed TF for a very long time now. welllllllll dooooone!

    Me i actually really like this the paint app gives it a tore up from the floor up feel i really dig it i think you did a great job
