I like it. I'd love to see it with some reprolabels slapped on it. Dare I say, better colors than the G1?

I decided to take the plunge. The price is right and shipping was only $12, so I went for it. I'll post my opinions here if you guys are interested. Hope it ships soon!

Hey guys, in case you are interested, I received these KO funky-colored Seacons today from Chimungmung. I think they are cool, but I am also disappointed in some ways.

    Cool Things:

    - Colors are wild and fun
    - They are remolded so that all of the accessories fit on the individual "beast" modes (including the feet and head)
    - Plastic is decent quality, for the most part- not Hasbro-good, obviously, but it doesn't feel like it's going to snap during transformation.
    - The five "appendage-bots" are pretty much the same sizes at the vintage G1s.

    Disappointing Things:

    - Snaptrap is MAJORLY downsized to be pretty much the same size as the other 5 bots- this gives a strangely proportioned combined mode
    - These are not direct KOs of the originals- they are all remolded (cleverly, in some ways, but they are not at all swappable with the original figures). Some parts of some figures are slightly larger than the originals (Skalor's tail) and some are smaller (Seawing's wings, Nautilator's beast legs). The connection points for combined mode are round.
    - Some of the plastic parts (Piranacon head, sword) seem cheaper than other parts
    - This might just be mine, but my Tentakil head doesn't fully lock downward in robot and foot mode, so if I use him as the left foot (as directed), the leg doesn't fully straighten, and Piranacon won't stand right. If I switch him out for Overbite, and put Seawing as the left arm, it works just fine, though.
    - Snaptraps "ping-pong" guns don't have the action feature
    - There are no Piranacon fists- the "hands" are holes in Nautilator and Overbite's flip-down mouths. The guns and sword just fasten into the mouth-hands. The big Piranacon gun is not included either; just the small ones.
    - The 5 stand piece sets from the original are not included

I guess those are the main points. They are fun and look pretty good (albeit strangely proportioned) in combined mode, but you can't swap these figures with the original G1s (like I had hoped to try). The price was decent, though, and I am glad I have them, pretty much. I was just hoping that they would be more on par with the high quality versions of the other KO combiners, but at that price point, I really shouldn't have expected that. Anyway, hope this helped *someone* out there. Did anyone else get these? What do you think? Was I being too nice? :)
