Yeah I only included him because he was a major villain and I figured some people would want him as an option. But I agree with the people saying he never became a Decepticon... he was more of an independent. Although he did seem to do what's best for the "majority" which seems to be referring to the Decepticons at the time by using their plan.

Shockwave. I don't like the fact that he was no more than just a big red herring.

 

Definitely Shockwave. I really don't mind that Megatron, Starscream, and Soundwave got killed, but I would've preferred if they got longer screentime and more dignified deaths. But since Shockwave is implied to be stronger and smarter than Megatron, he would definitely be the obvious choice. I could completely imagine him taking over as the new decpticon leader. (And hey, since the movie didn't tell us much about him, maybe they can say he has the power to rebuild himself after being destroyed due to a spark mutation or something. Think Waspinator or G1 Starscream, but more awesome.)

 

For me, it's a tie between Starscream and Soundwave.

Barricade, it would have been an awesome running joke of the movies that despite how badly the Cons get massacred, Barricade always makes it out in one piece.

 

Starscream, and maybe the Seekers would be the main villains.

 

Starscream. I would have liked for him to have been given a chance to shine.

 

Shockwave, because he could be the new leader of the Decepticons, and he only had his eye ripped out. He could be imprisoned or something, and kept wounded so that he would not escape... well, until some Decepticons free him.

And about Sentinel, here's what I think. He still remained the Autobot leader, since he called Optimus' Autobots 'rebel Autobots.' He, however, worked with the Decepticons, and quickly started acting as their leader. When he was fighting Optimus, he actually gave orders to the Decepticons. So, he was kind of both.

 

Soundwave/Shockwave.

 

No he wouldn't have. He said it himself:

"The needs of the many (Decepticons) outweigh the needs of the few (Autobots)"

 

It was a hamhocked line, the many was Cybertron and Cybertronians, and the "few" are a combo of the inferior human race and naive idealists (the descriptions moreso likely to be his opinions, I'm sure).

 

Starscream only because he's a coward and cowards live.

 

Shockwave without a doubt. They would've been pretty much set as far as a new main villain for another set of films.
