Hey guys, been a while sense I was able to work on customs but I'm back. I wanted to step it up a notch and try kit bashing and I also wanted to work on something on a larger scale. So I decided why not a Nemesis.

He is only a statue, does not transform. I took that opportunity and added a lot of detail and mods. I removed his massive back and made it more slender with wider lats. I wanted him to look less like Optimus so I added the double smoke stacks and some gear to his abs, along with his new forearms.

The reason for why I painted him the way he is? I did my research on Nemesis and read all kind of stories and kind tied them together a bit. I see him as the killer lurking in the shadows, whose spark was tortured for millions of years by his captor Unicron.. now his only function is to kill all who cross his path and one day reach his masters goal of using the dead matrix to destroy the powerful Primus. So after pretty much going through hell and back and the countless battles his body is left torn.. and damaged.. but far from broken. I also wanted to keep the classic colors black, red, teal and purple.. so I kept the teal and purple but VERY subtle. See if you can pick it out??

I did try to find weapons to use but I have limited resources and couldn't find much. I did remove his two swords to compensate for the new forearms.

u kno i was about to scream b/c i just finished my own nemesis/scourge but voyager class lol... but urs is a leader so phewwww. =P nice job here.. i like the back.. looks like u brought up the exhaust pipes.. nice matrix to!

Great work IC, he has a really grimy look and that's very cool. Love the subtle mods here and there and the matrix was a good call but I'd of left it totally black with a little glare to it (make it look truly empty). Great work again dude!

 

I just love the color scheme you have there. Looks like the eats protoforms for breakfast...

 

Thanks SON, kinda what I was going for. Well I tried to imitate the matrix that Nemesis has. Which is dark metal with a meal center. I did think about carving it out and making it hollow but decided to go with this instead.

Dang you got yours done before mine but mine has Dark Energon details and blades along with a shiny show room paint scheme but awesome job

 

I really wanted to make weapons for mine also but I didn't have the materials to do so. I plan on making another, smaller, version in the future decked out in a weaponry. Can't wait to see yours.

 

Its kinda in development hell right now due to my pearl(gives it a shiny glowing effect under blacklight) purple paint taking about a day to fully dry and running low on gloss black lol, but honestly the hardest part about painting that figure is all the little tiny nooks and crannys he has

 

Yeah, what kind of paint are you using that takes so long to dry?? But yeah, I had to go back my self cause kept finding spots that I missed. Even though most of them, to the the customer, they would never think to look there, it still bothered me so I had to get it all.

 

Hey man, meant to ask you, what's with the drips on his chest/windshields? Is that intentional bro?

 

Yeah, I didn't want it to look shiny like new, but I didn't want it to look damaged and cracked. So I though maybe some dripped sludge or a leak would be cool, add to the grime affect. All I did was make make 3 layers of gloss, going from light to heavy. Heavy for the drips.
