It was funny when Breakdown was chatting it up with a vehicon saying Airachnid was creepy with all the legs but there was something about her he liked.

What I've got so far:

The episode starts out with Ratchet and Raf. Ratchet’s working on making the synthetic energon from the last episode and says that it still needs to be tested. Raf gets all excited and tries to call Bumblebee over to test the stuff, but Ratchet says that he needs more time before he can do so on actual Autobots.

Ratchet then goes on to explain what we’ve already guessed: That both the Autobots and Decepticons are quickly running out of energon, so for the past few days they’ve been scrambling to find all that they can.

The sensors on their computer light up, showing that the Decepticons are carrying energon somewhere. The entire team minus Ratchet goes to check it out. Ratchet feels a bit useless and wishes he could do more.

Cut to the other Autobots: They’re driving after Breakdown and Knock Out who’re transporting a giant energon cube. Breakdown questions why they don’t just bridge themselves aboard the Nemesis now. Knock Out explains that the more they make the Autobots chase them, the faster their fuel will deplete.

Ratchet decides to use the experimental energon on himself, as he wants to actually do something to help. He injects it into him and passes out for a while, then Raf wakes him up. Ratchet notices that he’s working at better than optimal performance.

Meanwhile, Jet-Vehicons show up to back Knock Out and Breakdown up and cause a rockslide in the canyon that they’ve been driving through. Every Autobot but Arcee has been blocked off from the ‘Cons. Optimus radios Arcee to tell her to fall back, since she’s outnumbered. Arcee refuses. Optimus then calls Ratchet up to tell him to make a Groundbridge for her anyway.

Ratchet makes a Groundbridge and goes through himself, saving Arcee and laying waste to all the Vehicons. Knock Out and Breakdown escape, though.

The Autobots arrive on the scene and are surprised to see what Ratchet did all by himself. They ‘bridge home and Optimus warns Ratchet not to use the synthetic energon again, as it’s still untested and this whole “optimal performance” could be a fluke or come with unexpected side effects.

Later, Ratchet tries to tell what he did to the Vehicons to Bulkhead. Bulkhead doesn’t really get it, so Ratchet suggests that he demonstrate by having Bulkhead come at him. Bulkhead reluctantly agrees and Ratchet overpowers him, lifts him up, and smashes him through a wall. Bumblebee and Arcee happen to be walking though the hallway that Bulkhead ends up in. Ratchet brags about his newfound strength and makes a small pass at Arcee. The other Autobots are a little creeped out.
