I would definitely buy a toy of that design. The Classics Seeker mold was great for its time, but now it's become old, outdated, and horribly underwhelming compared to modern toy engineering. Plus, I really want a good, G1-style Thundercracker...
Anything is possible! Classics Sunstreaker and Prowl first had their designs shown in the old Dreamwave series, right? When Generations continues hasbro may be nice and decide to release the Seekers with Guidi's design. I've got the first Classics seeker mold in seven incarnations. I would love to have a reason to buy more (new) Seekers. ~Z
No. Well, maybe Prowl-ish, by nature of simply updating his G1 self into a modern car form. DW Sunstreaker still had the hood feet, IIRC, so definitely not.
I do NOT like those seeker designs. Just like contemporary anime mech designs, a mix of old and new, gone horribly wrong. Aside from the fragmented face, I like this seeker redesign lot better : http://cdn.tfw2005.com/transformers-comics/attach/3/9/4/0/7/transformers-comic-ongoing-issue-4-cover-a_1289231938.jpg That Prime design looks great though.
The Seeker designs look good, but if they get toys I'd like to see some changes. Mostly bigger torso and arms so that they are not almost all legs.
Jawdroppingly amazing!! Lovin' Optimus Prime!!! and the seekers aren't too shabby either. Would love to see these versions on my shelves.
Hasbro please make voyagers of the seekers and ultras of prime please!!!!!!! Maybe a black jet Megatron to go along with the prime
Loving the cencepts. Not sure if they'd translate into toy form that well, but its definitely worth HasTak looking into
If these could translate into actual figures that looked like this I would buy them in a heartbeat. They look badass like this. But...remember Sonicron. His concept art was awesome and the actual figure looks terrible.
I'm pretty sure you didn't mean it this way, but he didn't have anything to do with sonicron (other than original art). The execution was entirely the manufacturer(can't remember who made it). As for people thinking you couldn't make a toy out of those designs, didn't we say the same thing about the movie line, animated, and prime? i think overall those lines made the transition to toys pretty well. it's all about who's behind it, and hasbro has takara's engineers who have been doing this for a long time. In short, Third party? maybe. Hasbro? chances are high (if they did it). Randy!
