Excuse me for being totally off-topic, but I saw a statistic the other day that blew my mind. It said that India consumes 46% of the world's butter production every year. I must admit I'm not very familiar with Indian cuisine, but I never had the impression there was a ton of butter in everything. Can anyone with more knowledge shed some light on how all that butter is used?

since it is off topic, make a thread in the general discussion thread about this, or maybe google it and do your own research?

Off-Topic but to answer your question, this is "Butter" in a different form. India and Sri Lanka share a certain butter type which we call "Ghee". And yes, we do consume a lot.

    :)  A little help won't hurt.

Going into the topic the Hindi-Dub version never made it to Sri Lanka. But we are glad to get the English Version here. Unfortunately, we haven't got a theater well equipped for 3D viewing. But the 2D version broke the Sri Lankan record for the highest grossing film to date; beating ROTF which previously held the record. That's what I heard. :)

Hmm I can't remember which Singalese phrase means shove it...one sounded like like bamboogahagunda and the other was kohillagahagunda. Maybe NIBMRatchet can clear that one up to if he gets what I'm trying to say hehe.

I have honestly never heard of this guy before.

I'm sure he's pretty famous within India and its surrounding countries though!

Other sites don't copy because your writing's good or bad, they copy because it's easy. Plagiarism isn't the same as imitation.

    Thanks for listening.

Here's hoping any Bollywood exclusive dance number shows up on all Blu-ray copies. CGI animated Bollywood Cybertronians cutting a rug on Cybertron, the moon or Earth would look pretty hot!

Yeah I lived with a guy from Sri Lanka at college for a couple of years. He taught us some different phrases, but the intervening years and lack of use have dulled my remembrance. I remembered two of the phrases as being literally " x up your ass" one was bamboo and the other was a thorny plant I never heard of that sounded like kohilla. One meant screw you and the other meant calm down.

I still have the sarong he gave me. I pull it out in the winter and wear it around the house because it's amazingly warm for such a thin material. My family really gets a kick out of my "man-skirt" hehe.

So , who is the Spanish dub voice actor, or the Chinease, or the French, who gives a F@#k. There is one Prime, and that is Peter Cullen.

He would be the only one besides Cullen that deserves recognition for Portraying Prime.

    Ugh :rolleyes2

They should have just stuck with sub-titles. I don't care what language it is, overdubs always suck.

I don't understand why the hell is so much importance given to Akshay Kumar. I being half Indian understand Hindi very well, and decided to see the Hindi dub. All the voice actors were terribile, and our "Singh is King" guy sounded gay. Optimus Prime is supposed to have a deep voice. I have to agree with a previous poster on this thread that Amitabh Bachan's voice would have suited Optimus much more, but, thanks to Bay for making another ******ed decision. Akshay's voice performance was total shit, yet he still made the front page, TWO TIMES, WTF? I saw a couple of clips of the Russian dub (I understand Russian) on YouTube, that sounded way better than the amateur Indian dub, where the hell are the front page news about the Russian voice of Optimus Prime, or the French voice, or the German voice, or any other?

Oh, and the Indian audiance, you just gotta love them, after watching a 2hr movie the only thing they understood after coming out was "OPTIMUS PRRRRIME", "BUMBLEBEE" and "MEGATON".
