Well, sure Override, but I meant out of all the Arcees we've had, there hasn't been one as strong as TFP Arcee.

 

Historically female toy for boys are not sell. From the collector stand point it is ok, but from a 5 - 10 yrs boys that is a major turned off. They will not get girl toys.

That IDW sucks and is written rather horribly, and they obviously no editors doing their primary job: Keeping the stories coherent and, well...good.

Well, I can dream.

 

The editing has been iffy at times. Little mistakes like misattributed speech bubbles, and big mistakes like continuity errors and characters suddenly changing personalities for no reason. And some of their hiring choices in artists and writers have been questionable (*coughHeartofDarknesscough*). Overall I like what IDW has done, they just need a bit of fine tuning. Hopefully John Barber will be the tuner.  

The Disney Princess thing has probably taken the name Ariel out of contention...

There are probably a lot of girls that grew up with the little mermaid. If a character ends up called Ariel, they might end up a bit curious and check that character out.

So I don't think it would take the name out of contention at all.

Unless the name is protected by copyright, which I doubt.

 

That's how they bring in people who like other things as well. It's all about making money to companies.

Well, assuming Prime dies and Arcee becomes leader of Team Prime, and also assuming the matrix doesn't magically return to Primus, then yeah, I guess she would be the interim holder of the Matrix.

Also assuming that the matrix doesn't automatically upgrade your body unless you're worthy, I don't think she would become a Prime though. While Arcee is a strong female character and is genuinely likeable by the viewing audience, she also has her share of flaws and baggage that would probably prevent her from getting the "Prime" position.

She's shown to be easily baited. Anyone who knows her past is able to get a rise out of her. Be it Airachnid or even Ratchet. She's stern, but she's not beyond bending the rules or doing something that isn't strictly professional for the sake of ego/fun (refer ep "Speed Metal"). And she's quite revenge crazy.

So, she's a good field commander. But still given to emotion that blinds her to the big picture. She's also far less forgiving than Prime.

Now, granted, Prime himself wasn't always as stern as he is now. But if we compare Arcee to say... Jack (who is said to be similar to Prime's pre-Prime), Jack's far more grounded than the supposedly more adult giant alien robot.

So yeah, Arcee would probably be leader if Prime dies or is... unavailable. But being a "Prime" in Transformers: Prime apparently requires that you possess an exceptionally strong character. You have to be nigh saintly to be truly recognized.

I know that it´s crazy but, could the Matrix choose a non cybertronian vessel if it finds worthy or "pure" enough? as far we know, Jack, if only a human teen with a very limited experience on this war, has showed promising qualities and a high moral virtues (the "Optimus would never do" to both Megatron and Arcee was one of his great moments), to the point to be compared with Orion Pax in his early days. It would be interesting if in Season 2

Jack finds a way to summon back the lost Matrix and become his vessel temporary, before giving it back to Optimus.

 

Optimal Jack? Or heck, Power Master Jack. I'd be down with sum o dat Chokon powah.
