I love this figure! Just got him in the mail today, and have been having fun ever since!
Joints are tight, quality is excellent, and his appearance is perfect--in my opinion--for a Constructicon.
Usually I hate excavator modes on Transformers because both of the figures I have that feature that vehicle as an alt mode are very stiff, but this time I'm impressed with how Exgraver's vehicle mode turned out. The shovel is pose-able enough for my tastes, and the size feels just right in my opinion. Too bad the vehicle cannot rotate 360° on the treads, though.
One major flaw, however: the hand that came with my Exgraver was missing a pin for its pinky finger. Not a huge problem, as it was remedied with a quick insertion of a new pin.
Overall . . . Good work, TFC! I will definitely complete the set to "create the MIGHTY HERCULES!"

 

WHY GOD WHY!!! Its okay I understand. Do you maybe have a Cybertron Metroplex, if not than its no biggie.

 

Any comparison photos vs. the original G1 toy?

I really wanted to like this guy, but I seriously cannot. I have too many issues with him:
1- his combiner port is in plain site for no specific reason is really annoying, I was hoping the original images were just a mis transformation
2- the colors seem off. It's like they are a bit too bright or something
3- the bot mode doesn't really look like him much. Plus it looks weird next to the classics.
4- he is too big for classics figures and too small for masterpiece figures, so not sure where he fits in. Maybe with the iGear stuff.

 

I am pretty sure his chestplate covers the combiner port when it's not in use

 

Add "It's too expensive!" to that list and you'll have every single nitpick already brought up several times before on this figure.
Oh, except of course for, "The entire cab does not rotate in a manner that the vehicle it is based on is incapable of!"

i'm gald to find that the exgraver is popular here.the first piece is not be sold in china yet till today. btw ,i'm a tf fan from china and i booked the one three pieces. it's a fantastic one ,isn't it~

 

What a neat looking bot! Nice to see he satisfies.

 

Not worth a $100. Hopefully, someday they could release all 6 at $300 or something. Might as well get encore devastator, you get all 6 for the same amount. Smaller I know, but more worth it.

I really love it so far, but won't get mine for a while, pre-ordered it along the first FP not-Insecticon so I'll have to wait some more.

The design is great and fit quite well with Classics. He's not 100% G1, and that's perfect because Classics isn't about being 100% G1 either, but inspired, modernized and revamped version of their G1 conterpart. For that Exgraver is perfect, and despite those change, he unmistakably looks like who he's supposed to be.

Drinking game for this review, every time he says Generation 1 take a shot, you'll be dead about 15 minutes in.

Over all very nice looking toy, I think I will be well pleased with it when Kapow send mine. Now to start getting hyped about the next one coming out.

 

For all those saying he doesn't fit into Classic aesthetic, you need to get your eyes checked. Standing side by side right next to Classics Prime, Exgraver looks to sport the same aesthetic very well with similar lines and joints and design cues.

He looks great, no doubt. Can't wait until Peaugh or Emgo316 or Vange1us reviews him!

 

I'm loving the fact that he can do that a hell of a lot more than I should.
