I'm disappointed that there wasn't pics of the last 2 members of Hercules(or any other for that matter) shown in or on the package. I'd be satisfied with renders right now. I think at this point TFClub needs to show us the last 2 guys due to 1/6 of their product has been released.

There are going to be thousands of this guy. Hardly what I would consider a custom transformer.

I'm also thinking of designing some custom decals of these figures. Going to shoot Delta an email tonight to see what his thoughts are. What would everyone think of a set for each figure? Thoughts? Is it worth entertaining the idea?

I think the only stickers I'd want are Decepticon insignia labels. Preferably some that don't look like stickers.

I don't define custom as in unique. Although since you asked I actually have no solid definition of a custom. I look at it from the perspective of, if I commission for a good devy, how much would that take? Anything less than that, I am actually quite content. If the price was pushed down more? that's awesome. But if its not, I am not really bitching about it.

YES YES YES YES! A Thousand times yes!!! I was JUST thinking last night how much I hoped RL would do sets for these guys. A shiny-silver decal with a rounded top for his chest would do WONDERS to erase the few little doubts about how I feel about this guy in robot mode, plus all the little awesome G1-sticker and deco nods I'm sure you'd add in the bargain.

    PLEASE!

I wouldn't mind some tasteful hazard stripes. But once you start throwing in G1-style tech stickers, it just starts looking messy on these more detailed Classics-type updates.

That IS the beauty of stickers, just apply the ones you want.

There's usually at least one on any given sheet that I'll think is stupid and not use.

Well, I'll see custom devy's go for $1000+ on Ebay so if you compare it to those then yes this is alot cheaper. It's alot easier to swallow the $600 price tag when you think about it in those terms.

    Look at this for example.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/transformers-CU...533?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4cf8de4445

IMO Hercules kills that custom and it is almost at $500.00.

not really. i'd never buy em'. commissioning someone to do customs. no matter the workmanship for those. i'd feel gyped. i don't see the point to pay some one for it.

i want that price down as well. the price is pretty high for a company who is stealing from someone else.

How are they stealing from someone else? Well, I guess that depends on your perspective. I am paying the 600$ for their engineering design. And that's original.

yes, the engineering alone is worth the dough. at 400 beans it would be at what its worth.

too bad too sad tak/bro, feel the burn.

Y'know, this picture kind of nails down what it is that has been slightly bothering me about this figure when I see it next to other Classics... the head seems too big. I mean, not necessarily too big for the figure, but when you stand him next to others, it feels like that head is what makes him seem... off-scale somehow. With a smaller head, and that bulky body, I think he'd fit in better.

Still... damn nice all around. :thumb

To be real, I've been feeling that way from the start.
