Went from place to place searching for new TF to buy but to no avail Arriving at TRU to be disappointed yet again (still no Hasbro MP Roddy), I decided to head over to the starwars section just to lepak. was pleasantly surprised to find something new there: Starwars Xovers Commander Class toys, Consisting of Anakin, Obi Wan and Gen Grevious! I was thrilled and wanted to get all of them, until i saw the PRICE. WHAT??? same price as DOTM HA Basics -__- In my itch to get a new toy, i still bought one of them. i like transformers, and i like obi wan kenobi. So here, i owned my first Obi Wan Kenobi toy! Alt mode looks good, and paint apps are great Pretty much the shell former, but is sleek from the side Robot mode has decent articulation The instructions... Looks nifty, honkhet. But they are soooo small and same price with HA Basics? Wow. Unless I have nothing else to buy then I will buy him for kitbash fodder.... Thanks for the pics and review
Cybertronian Cyberverse custom fodder. For some reason, I'm seeing Scourge in this mold. Called it! Customization is the ONLY reason I'd buy Star Wars crossovers. The others I own are horrible messes, but these small versions seem to be just right. One question- how's the stability in bot mode? Seems like the feet are small. Good review, by the way.
I'm getting grievous and maybe Obi Wan. Smaller looks to be better. Instruction sheet is funny in that legends have had ones about that length but I'm ok with it being quick. Should be fun enough to do dozens of times non stop .
yeah! i was never pulled towards the deluxe++ sized crossovers, but simply fell for these ME GUSTA!!! yea yup obi wan's transformation is pretty fun, i might be getting grevious later too scourge or maybe cosmos! all the head needs is a visor and it could pass as cosmos XD yup feet are small and fig is back heavy, but the ankle and thigh articulation handles the balance issues Thanks bro TC!
Obi Wan kicks butt. He has some issues standing, but his alt mode is pretty good, aside from the obvious parts underneath. I like him WAY more than Anakin. Of the three, this one is the one I recommend the most. I dont think it was mentioned, but you can turn his head side to side also.
Would be a good base for a mini-Scourge It actually doesn't look that bad, better than a lot of the regular sized SW crossovers
