Is it just me or does it feel like Hasbro is punishing us for wanting their products? I've been to so many Marshall's and T.J. Maxx's that the disappointment is really getting to me. I'm ready to give up yet, but on the proverbial cliff.

    I don't understand this quote.

The REASON that they are at discount stores is because nobody wanted them in the first place right?

Either way, I'm glad to have found out about this stock clearing as I've grabbed a leader OP and Sea Spray for cheap in the past week. Not a fan of SS myself but my son said he loved it after going through the RtS mini catalogue they were packing in the boxes.

Well the Big Lots by my house didn't. All they had were the minicons, "panhandler", "swashplate", "brake-neck", and "drivetrain" for $4.80 each.

That's not the reason... Those figs were part of a later wave of TF stuff, that was seen in store comps as a continuation of hunt for the decepticons.

Stores already had HFTD figures clogging their shelves so most places never bothered to order RTS stuff...

People want it, but if your store doesn't order it, you can't get it.

THATS why these figs are at marshals and ross...

You are correct sir. But in this case the "nobody" that didn't wanted them would be the big box retailers not the end consumers. It's a common deficiencies in supply chain.

So it would be the big box retailers punishing us and not hasbro. I'm grateful they sold them to the discounters instead of melting them down!

    Ok, those are good points.

Also, then like somebody else pointed out it's not really Hasbro doing this to us then and it's also a good thing that we can get them on the cheap.

I've still got my Grapple/Lugnut for $50 + shipping. If you want to add a Deep Dive or Strafe to that and I can find at the stores I'll add them at cost.

Yeah, we gain by not having to pay retail for these guys, but sadly equal distribution suffers. But at least we have this board and our sightings boards to help a little. I'm pretty much done buying these guys myself unless I find megatron or stryfe, but i'm still happy to look and post what I find.

Correct me if im misreading, but getting grapple and lugnut for 50 is not a mark up its retail. Be careful about calling peeps here gougers. Not everyone found their figures at the discount stores.

I originally bought Grapple & Lugnut from HTS for $50. I then found Grapple and Lugnut at Ross for discount so I'm effectively selling my first set at cost. I do not normally advertise on these threads but I thought I'd throw my offer out there since you asked.. Ah well.

I can attest to that- hell, I'm from Canada and bought mine at retail for $30 each! Although I do envy those that found them for $10!

I apologize for my part in that. It won't happen again.
