Ok, so on Blu-Ray.com there is a listing for a 3D blu ray combo pack, so I was wondering, might this be another brand exclusive like Avatar and Shrek? I, personally, really hope not.

sounds stupid....but to use it(I think....)you have one of those 1,000 dollar 3D TVs.So if you don't have one of those TVs AND they do make it.....your safe!!!

    I have a 3D TV and a normal Blu-Ray player, will I need a 3D Blu-Ray player to make it extra spiffy?

If it can it should have a 3D logo somewhere on it.......or if you have a PS3 your good to go.

Easiest way would be to google the model number.

Other DVDs have came out in 3D before and you didn't need a special TV so why would we need one now?

Because they're anaglyph 3d (with the blue red glasses)dvd and the Bluray 3d you need a 3d TV and a 3d ready bluray player.

Seriously? Go and read about Anaglyphic 3d.....then read about Stereoscopic 3d. Once digested you'll see why......

I seriously doubt this will be an exclusive release like Avatar 3D was.

Yeah that idea was such a trainwreck it's not even funny.
Make THE biggest 3D realease 3D BD for the limited (yet suprisingly growing) audience with 3D TVs:
    Perfectly Fine.
Realease it as an exclusive to Panasonic, screwing everyone else over:
    MEGA SHITSTORM!

It's the same technology used for the Nintendo 3DS. Therefore, it has a very limited viewing angle, so it works well for handheld devices but not so much for a tv if you're planing on having more than one person watching in 3D at the same time.

Jesus Christ I'm sorry that I don't waste my time reading about the differences between different kinds of 3D, fuck.
