Mind the budget ;)  I really "need" a Tomahawk, so let me know if you find one you can pick up ;)

Already picked up Highbrow at FP and Terradive off here :)

Quick urgent-ish question - is the Tesco promotion still on today? e.g. deluxes at £8.47...?

Sooo I'm actually gonna go to argos today because I realise the bank and toys r us are REALLY far apart, and I was wondering,

Leader Ironhide or Leader Sentinel Prime?

also what's up with the thread's pages?

    Sentinel.

And when a thread gets large, ghost pages are created.

The urge to press that button for the next page is so tempting, but I know that my effort will be fruitless D: perhaps it's time for a Uk thread part 2?

mmmm I was steering towards sentinel, it hurts that they're both amazing leaders, I could get both but I also reallly want voyager hobotron so I have to make a sacrifice.

And he came to earth on the 'Ooh-Arrk'

Just Picked up Leader Ironhide, did a stock check on the Warminster Argos and it said they had 5 in stock, so I thought I'd give it a go. I'd suggest those on the fence about sentinel should grab him now while he's still available (and while he's still cheap in argos).

If you want both, get both. Ironhide isn't a terrible toy. it's just that Sentinel Prime is a better one.

IF there is a Leader Megatron this year, it's still months away.

And that's a very very big if. Hasbro typically only turn out three new leader molds a year.

Some do. Some dont. Some of those that do, it's loose.

There's more about that in the feedback thread, i think.

I'll answer my own question - just popped out to Abingdon Tesco: The sale finishes today (12th) so if you want £8.47 deluxes, £4.97 Cyberverse Leaders etc, get down there now.

Saw the exclusive Starscream and Ratchet (nowhere did it say "Tesco Exclusive", unlike the Sainbsurys Exclusives, but anyway) - they look quite nice! But good grief, standing next to the '07 Ratchet repaint, the new DOTM Voyager Prime looks anorexic!

Dammit. Taking it back. Its not that its just glued into place, its glued into place at an angle. Not having that. Fuckballs.

Just got another one, same issue, but the head is on straight so i think i can deal with it. However, can anyone suggest any straight forward fixes? Are there any glue solvents i can buy that wont affect paint/plastic?

    Welcome to the boards!

I'd say i'm the slightly confused one that just politely smiles & nods... :D

There seems to be a pattern with cats here; I also have one....well, there's a cat, and it lives in my house anyway. But I don't do beards, only a bit of the rugged stubble now & again (that & collecting toys makes you a real man! )

Went for a look in Wrexham Tesco today; they had the exclusives and such, & there was one - yes ONE! cyberverse figure in the whole store. Plus a whole lot of Roadbusters....is he becoming the next big shelfwarmer?

Almost bought a Jolt, but decided against it..should I have got him while the sale was on?

Just got myself a Leader SP from Argos today, they had the full selection, SP, BB and Ironhide. Now just waiting for my various odd orders to arrive, WST Tigertracks, WST Breakdown and Legend Warpath :)

I was very tempted by sideswipe yesterday, but only because i want his gun for skyhammer! (who, incidentally, is a fucking amazing figure. Why isnt he being raved about??? I calling it. Best Copterformer ever.)

GOOD NEWS! Aparrently theres a fix for Ironhide that involves a hair dryer!

    BAD NEWS! I'm bald!

Oh yeah, I have him on order, didn't fancy paying FPs £30 price tag so got him on ebay for £24 or so, looking forward to him now :)

Also, I somehow seem to have ended up buying all the Cyberverse Commanders, I seem to quite like that line for some reason, must be similar to me liking WSTs I guess!

Seriously, he's awesome. My only gripes would be the large and silly mechtech weapon, and the lack of swivel above the knee joint, but these are very minor, nitpicky gripes. Other than that, he has a wicked alt mode, hardly any vehicle kibble in bot mode (VERY rare for a helicopter transformer), genius placement of rotor blades, excellent proportions and excellent poseability. A*

Cant wait for repaint news. (Rotorstorm? Springer? He'd look great with some G2 Garishness!)

Edit: Ironhides head is LOOOSE! So happy!

For those who have Skyhammer, do the instructions have a different head ie do they reveal hints at a future repaint?

I would be interested in seeing this, unfortunately though if they are going to paint him blue I have a feeling they'll call him Whirl rather than Rotorstorm. Oh well, it helps me keep my Rotorstorm collection small :lol

Alas, no. The instructions show the toy now, witht the parts that you move highlighted, as opposed to the CAD of old.
I like to spin Skyhammers knees around 180 - he doesn't look like a drunken prick when you pose him, and the level of detail on the back of the legs is just enough to stop it looking half arsed.
